Spent an evening here for Auckland anniversary day 2018. A fantastic place to relax & see the sights. Parking was no problem (& it was a busy evening) clean & well maintained grounds. Good job lads. Sat on the bluff & watched as the Auckland Harbor Bridge was lit up in celebration.

Nice views! From some points you can also see the sky tower. If there's tourist buses however, there's a really long line for the toilets. Nice relaxing area you can take off your shoes and enjoy nature.

We hopped off the local bus and wandered around for an hour. Would be nice to take a picnic and sit and relax. Small cafe for a coffee was ordinary as the milk tasted off which was a bit disappointing.

Fabulous views, plenty of shade thanks to the many trees and seats to sit and rest. There is a small amount of parking and public toilets. The memorial isn't anything special but the views are well worth it.

Beautiful gardens & a great location as a look out point for views across the bay to Auckland. Seems to be a big tourist stop for the coaches including the hop on hope off one. Plenty of open park land if you want a picnic spot to.
