The highlight of Auckland getaway was eating here at Mekong Baby!nWe ordered Prawn Dumplings to start and they were light and cooked perfectly, our mains were Pad See Ew, and the Pork Belly and they were outstanding dishes. Cooked with love and perfection and it was one of the best pork belly dishes I've ever had!nFor dessert we had the coconut sago which was a light, tasty and.great end to a meal that was simply stunning. 10/10.nThe service and atmosphere was also fantastic and I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know and can't wait to revisit Auckland to eat here again!
Vegan options are terrible. I ordered the salt and pepper tofu dish in vegan. The plate was filled with greens with only 6 tofu cubes. Please reconsider dining here if you are vegan. To the restaurant - please give more thought to the ethical options on your menu.
I’ve now been here twice and both times it was packed!, which is a good indication it’s a great place to dine. First and foremost I’m absolutely blown away by how fast the food came out of the kitchen These are pictures of my favourites. And last but not least to our wonderful waitress “KAM” whom was absolutely hospitable and very attentive throughout the night which made the experience much more enjoyable! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone! I will definitely be back but next time it’ll be with a table full of friends so I hope Mekong baby is ready for us!
You HAVE to get the “let’s eat” menu some time! Seven courses and we were absolute stuffed. Loved trying so many different dishes after coming off a plane. The cauliflower popcorn was so good.
Great tasting food, fast service, friendly staff. I'd prefer this place over Prego.
