Sidart is consistency creative. They have an exceptionally high standard. It is a strong contender for best Auckland restaurant. Wait staff are given more freedom than at other fine dining establishments. I’ve seen tattoos, a nose ring and a moustache. I find it slightly more friendly and relaxed. The standard of food at The French Cafe is possibly higher but you will get more variety at Sidart.

This was my first time dining experience and for me, it was fantastic. The service was impeccable and our server was a genuine, attentive, and interesting Scotsman. He kept our pace reasonable and really took on our responses to each course. We did the 15 with 9 pairings. I really loved the texture of the kumara puffs and wow, that parsnip ice cream. What a night! I would love to return to Sidart.

Absolutely amazing food! The matched wine with the Degustation was delightful. The staff were wonderful. Would definitely eat here again.

Group of 4 for lunch. Every plate was good & we chose our own glass of wine. Very good & would go again.
