Had new - seconds carpet tiles advertised at $1:10. They have no backing and not great. Used carpet tiles were $2:50 ea. unfortunately had to vacuum and steam clean to bring up to standard. Would have been better to buy new ones elsewhere.
Good friendly advice. huge range of stock. Went in looking for a roll of carpet to do a room spilled paint on the old carpet knowing it was going to cost a fair bit for a carpet layer. Came out with carpet planks after talking with Tim. His advice was to lay it myself to save the labour costs. He explained how to lay and cut the planks. they fitted in my car boot nicely. Had the job done the next day. Very happy with end result.
I was verry lucky to find McMats through Gumtree. My first visit there, I managed to get 100sq meters for a quick fixer upper, for a rental property. With the great service and advise and direction, I was out of there within 30min. The carpet squares were at such a good price, they look so good and were so easy to lay, I have just bought another 21 squares to do my own bedroom. If your neading carpet, dont go past this place so much veriety to please everyone. Please note the photos were taken before I vacumed.
Wow, don’t be fooled by the business’s uninviting exterior - the product and people inside are a complete solution that I wish I’d found years ago!! Having kids and animals on wall to wall carpet didn’t work for us, but carpet tiles or planks are fantastic! If part of the carpet gets a stain, just pull it up, hose it off, let it dry and place it back in!! It feels SO much cleaner. I know we think of commercial sites when we think of carpet tiles but I truly believe it’s time to reconsider!! Go see Tim, he’ll sort you out!
Very friendly and helpful service from Michael and the guys at McMats. We needed carpet mats for two bedrooms and a walk in robe for a rental property. We found some great tiles which match beautifully with timber flooring and have a felt backing which makes them softer to walk on. They are in a plank shape so a bit more interesting than your usual commercial carpet tile and can be laid in different ways. As mentioned, the team at Mc Mats are happy to help and advise what is available. They also took the tiles out and loaded in our trailer. We will definitely use McMats again.
Go and see Tim for a fantastic range of carpets and carpet tiles for the best prices. We bought carpet tiles for our dining and lounge rooms for a fraction of the price of other places and were so impressed with the range of colours. Definitely worth a visit!
Called for some carpet tiles to go on a shed floor to create a pleasant space for a model railway. Michael was great and we got good 2nd hand tiles at a fraction of new price. Am in the process of washing them with a jet gun and have not yet found one that doesn't look new once dry. Will definitely shop there again.
Tim and the team are fantastic and really helpful and helped me find the perfect carpet tiles I needed - and even put them in my car for me. They have a huge range at the best prices and great service thanks Tim

We visited Michael from country Vic. He was terrific, giving us time to explore all the warehouse & then assisting us with our choice. He also was happy for us to take a tile or2 home to check it in our room, but being from the country, we made our decision on the spot. He added a few extra tiles for us. Thanks Michael.
