Thank you Dr. Nadia Ting and assistant. Fantastic job done by both of them, very friendly, comforting and professional. Clean and neat environment, this place is worth every penny. The only thing that I concern is that I’ve been asking few times for my xray copy to the receptionist, but I haven’t receive it until now. If you could improve on this area it’s a 10/10.
Very impressed with this dentist, they were very prompt with their service and despite not having a lot of staff on the day, they did their best to make the experience as smooth as possible. It's simple to book online and if it's your first visit here they give you a goodie bag as well.
It was a great experience at MC Dental. Found them through google and it did not disappoint. Reception team were well-mannered and polite. The dentist and his assistant were also really friendly. Plus, great work on cleaning my teeth. Didn't get their names but props to them! Also, I got a free dental hygiene pack with toothbrush/toothpaste - thought it was really cute
Great, efficient service. I had an issue with a broken permanent retainer, the dentist gave me all of the options available and answered all of my questions. I was able to pick up my new plastic retainer on the same afternoon! Extremely happy with the service I received, would certainly recommend them.
While technical issues and machinery failures are unpredictable, I really believe that any delays caused by them should be properly relayed to the customers and patients. Today I had to wait about 40 minutes after my appointed time due to technical issues that began since noon and persisted late afternoon. If the issue lasted so long, the receptionist should have informed patients via text or email so they don’t need to wait for so long and come on time when they aren’t even going to be treated promptly. I did not want to sound rude by asking the receptionists about how long I should wait until I can see the dentist, but I shouldn’t even be asking in the first place since this is the clinic’s responsibility to notify patients of any issues. It also didn’t help that the none of the receptionists even bat on eye to me when I walk in the clinic; had to interrupt the Chinese receptionist to tell her about my appointment. I felt bad about interrupting her but she should at least offer an acknowledgement of my presence, or even a ‘I’ll get to you in a moment’ would have sufficed. Then when I wanted to pay for the dental procedures, I went to the Indian receptionist to ask for my bill, because I understand that I have to pay out of pocket since my BUPA membership did not cover dental fees. She was so adamant about scanning my membership card which took even more waiting time... and was surprised when I wasn’t covered??? Like duh, that’s why I asked for the bill!! Of course there’s also delays in adjusting the fee for student discount because the dentist was busy with the next patient already so I had to wait even more when I had already waited a very long time for my appointment and I was already in a very bad mood. Please improve communication between dentist and receptionist and patients so that patients can be notified if there’s an expected delay. Very disappointed with the customer service of the receptionists too, incredibly unprofessional. Probably won’t come here again in a very long while at least.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to MC Dental for having someone like Zoe. You see, I have an enormous fear of coming to the Dentist and most Dentists tend to brush my fears to one side, but Zoe actually takes the time to Genuinely Listen to me and take extra time to be as gentle and caring in all she has to do, even if it means it’s more difficult for her. Now that is a Rare Find! Her assistant’s also are an absolute asset in making my whole experience so comforting with their patience and kindness. Sincerely, Thank you!!
Utterly disappointed by the practice manager's Customer service and the way she spoke. I went to MC dental for a tooth extraction. I was in severe pain and booked the earliest appointment on that day. I was treated by Dr Yi Pei Teh along with her assistant.She was amazing. She was gentle and explained everything thoroughly before the procedure. I had never done a tooth extraction in my life, so I was a bit nervous. She made sure I was comfortable and did the procedure so well. She also provided after care instructions well. She also asked if I need a medical certificate and if so she will email it to me otherwise remind the reception about it.However the cst was around $400 which I was fine with and half was covered by my insurance and I explained to the Indian lady at the reception I will pay the out of pocket amount the following day when my pay comes through, the manager was very rude and yelled in front of other patients, "YOU HAVE TO PAY NOW!!!! WHY CANT YOU PAY?!! Anyway, I did not want to make a huge scene so I politely explained and moved on.However I couldn't pay that as I'm a casual worker and my pay was added to the next week until i provide my workplace with a medical. So I gave them a call and apologised for the delay and asked if its okay to pay the next Wednesday and asked for the medical. the asian lady answered and advised that they wont provide the medical until I pay. I get it from the business perspective that this is not charity. But the way they spoke was utterly rude. call was escalated through to the practice manager and all she did was yelling. She repetitively kept saying you need to pay you need today without listening to my side of the story. She acted as if I'm the receptionist and she is the customer. I had to wait until she finished yelling to start speaking. She is completely mannerless and very discriminative. She also said you should not have booked the appointment if you know you cant pay that on that day. I explained to her it was an emergency and how bad my pain was and my health was important than money.I had to repeat my self more than 10 times to make sure she understands. All I asked was for the medical and time to pay until next Wednesday until she kept dragging on and she ended the call saying I need to go and will send the medical if you pay on Wednesday! The dentists are amazing but the reception staff make it a lot worse.
This place is a complete rip off. I went in for a simple clean and I admit, I would have needed a couple of sessions. However, they created an unnecessary dental plan with elaborate procedures and exorbitant costs. Their communication isn't great and they don't give you your options either. They quoted me $1400 for the clean. I got it done in a neighbourhood clinic for $340 and my teeth look great now.
Gday, many years ago I had terrible experiences with dentists and have left attention to wisdom tooth issues for far, far too long. MC Dental had the job of removing two wisdom teeth, on two visits, one week apart. I had sleepless nights before visit one, due to the worry. My dentist was attentive, explained exactly what was going to happen and built rapport with me. This all eased some of my concerns and may I say, on both visits, I really do not know why I was so concerned. Brilliant dentist, thank you! Both visits! If you have concerns going in, as I certainly did, please don’t, these guys are stunning people, I just wish I’d gone in years earlier!
MCDental is so amazing!!! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming… all the staff are very professional and quick. Nurses go through a lot setting up so quickly, yet they always provide the best! Also Dr Sisi Zhu, has so much patience and is very comforting to all her patients and treats them all as friends
