The scallops were overwhelmed by the Paris Butter taste in our opinion.nThey gave us five versus four on the menu due to the small size.nnThe prawns were under whelming in taste also.nnThe oysters were wonderful.nGreat freshness and flavor.
What a wonderful experience we had from the moment we stepped through the door. The selection of drinks seemed never ending and the meals were selected were cooked to perfection. Our favourite was the dessert.

We had a mix-up with the fish special—our waitress mentioned one type, but a different fish was served. The beer batter was underwhelming, with no real flavour. It was crispy on top but soggy underneath, so it fell off the fish. Thankfully, the fish itself was delicious without the batter. At $48, though, it felt a bit overpriced, especially with only nine chips neatly stacked on the plate.nnWe also ordered the duck fat potatoes, which were excellent—crispy and full of flavour. They were out of mud crab for the pasta, but the Moreton Bay bug substitute was an amazing alternative and tasted great. The oysters, fresh from South Australia, were enjoyable, and my partner was obsessed with their tartare sauce.nnOne of the managers or owners came over during the meal, and their service was noticeably better, with more attention to detail, which was appreciated.nnOverall, despite a few issues, we’ll definitely be back.
