This is hardly traditional Mexican fare, but definitely a notch or two up on the standard Tex-Mex you find around the place. I've eaten here 4-5 times over the last year and I've also found the food to be fresh, plentiful and tasty.  A shopping centre would be the last place I'd choose to go for dinner,  but I often come here for dinner on my visits to the coast.

The staff have always been friendly and attentive and the food has always been quick on delivery and good value compared to others on the coast. 

I'm perplexed as to why this place get such a bad wrap, and I say that as a guy who is from south of the border (Melbourne).

So many bad reviews. We must of been the lucky ones. Food was delicious and plenty. Staff were just normal staff. The man that took our order was patient and understanding. Food was also quick to prepare and although there isn’t a lot of kids menu items, what they did have our girls loved. People can be so brutal with every single little mistake. I would come back. Jalapeño poppers were great!

Excellent friendly staff and lovely food. Would defianitly recommend them to anyone, fun atmosphere nice music and well presented staff. Love going here the guacamole is my favourite.

Absolutely horrid experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. As other reviews have stated, staff care more for talking to each other and laughing about problems rather than making sure customers are satisfied with the food and service. We should have cancelled our order the minute we saw the disgusting tables that we had to clean and then the stale nachos that should have been binned last week. My order was completely forgotten about and after half an hour of waiting I got a refund and went elsewhere. When I went up to see what had happened to my order the staff laughed about it and it took 2 of them to process the refund. There is a major attitude problem with the staff here and I didn't see anyone in charge to take responsibility and resolve issues. 4 separate tables had problems with their food either being forgotten or returned to the kitchen in the half hour period I was there. I saw the staff inspecting someones dish that obviously had something wrong with it but they sent it out to them and it was promptly sent back. They didn't remake the dish but instead put more sauce on it so it was swimming in it and then re-served it. The owners need to take a serious look into their business and invest in their staff because the decor is what drew us in but the staff will guarantee that we will never be back.

I wouldn't recommend getting a meal here in all honestly - it's poorly prepared, they usually use old stale ingredients and no matter how many times I ask them to not serve it with any dairy they always forget. However, if you can afford it, the cocktails are quite nice. The classic mojito is my favourite. Staff could be more professional, though I haven't had a horrible experience many of my friends have. Overall, go elsewhere for food but definitely have a mojito there in the evening (the decor and location is rather nice).
