We were with Mana Medical Center over 2 years, Being our Main GP, Dr Vipul Patel.. We found this doctor never refers to any specialist when needed, moreover the disease he identifies are wrong , as many times he said it was one disease and after many days and not getting well, we headed to the Wellington Hospital , and we found the unpleasant truth the prognosis was wrong...

On top of that, with my little one, when he was with fever a few times, he did a copy and past of previous prescriptions Medication not realising the dose given was wrong ( way much less than needed ), as a consequence of this, my baby fever never dropped till with discussed with the pharmacy and gave us the right dose..

If you can avoid this Doctor please do that.. wasn't the best professional experience

Staff are unhelpful and quite frankly just plain rude. Patients are treated like a number, and all they see you as is money. I’ve been over charged on multiple occasions, they’ve refused to give me my Medical notes. 

I was registered here for 13 years too long. 

Don’t bother, go elsewhere.

I was with Mana Medical for well over two years. I transferred to another practice as my dealings with the office staff have been notoriously unpleasant. From being questioned (on numerous occassions) about the nature of my requirement to see a doctor, to being told my appointment should have been given to a patient that was actually sick, I have been met with staff with absolutely appalling people skills and no grain of empathy. 

My doctor's were fantastic and I am really sad to transfer away from them; but the anxiety I experience when having to interact with their receptionists, and the foul mood it puts me in even just making an appointment, is not worth it. What a Shame!
