I had to live in Porirua temporarily for what was planned to be only a year, so I didn't want to move my medical records. Plimmerton Medical Centre was very kind in taking on a casual patient when most practices don't have room. They looked after me brilliantly for what ended up being several years before I could move away again. Plus, although the casual rates are more expensive, they were comparable to what I pay for an appointment with my regular GP in Auckland now.

Dr Matthew Shelton is an amazing doctor with integrity and immense knowledge. He has been widely known for many years as doctor to go to if you need a doctor that will listen to the patient and try finding the root cause instead of just treating the symptoms.nThank you for speaking up and empowering people with knowledge. Thank you for providing facts and information to people, so they are able to make a true informed consent.

Dr Matt Shelton is great. He's well versed in functional medicine. he listens, takes a whole person approach and asks really insightful questions. The nurse and reception staff were so lovely and down to earth. This is a old school medical practice using new school models to addressing patient health. Very Cool.

Dr Matt Shelton is an intelligent, considered and very well educated doctor.  He has genuine concern and care for his patients.  I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a doctor who looks at underlying causes rather than just pushing pills to treat symptoms.  A man of integrity and expertise.
