Macquarie Fields railway station is very clean. Staff is very friendly and at the same time truly professional. 
The station had an upgrade some years ago but a lift/escalator was not built/installed. For people with a disability or common injury it is an effort to catch the train. 
First you need to arrive to the station much earlier, then you need to challenge the steps to get up to cross the bridge and finally the last challenge, you need to confront the last steps to get to the platform. 
I wish this isn't too much to ask for.

Handy station - no lift for people needing to catch a train to the City. A lift would make the station passenger friendly. Passengers that require a lift have to use Glenfield Station.
