The station is situated at the Discovery Point, the heart of Wolli Creek. The station is strategic commuter's hub for travellers and CBD workers. It is only a 15 minutes train ride towards Sydney Townhall Station and a few minutes towards Sydney airport. Interstate travellers would only need a 7 minutes train ride passing two stations. For international travellers, it only takes a few minutes because next station is the international airport station. Furthermore, there are plenty of food and grocers right outside the residential area of the Discovery Point area developed by Frasers.
Wolli Creek train station is probably one of the most convenient stations for frequent flyers. It is only one station 4mins away from international airport and two stations 7mins away from domestic airport. Furthermore, it is only 15mins away from CBD and Townhall station. There are plenty of restaurants and groceries right next to the station.
They need better lifts than the ones currently in use between the concourse and platforms 1 and 2. Got trapped on one of them for a few minutes but was too scared to press the emergency telephone button so phoned the station manager instead. Those are hydraulic lifts and therefore they are likely to be very slow - so annoying and time-consuming. And why do I have to put up with it? I won't trust any more hydraulic lifts now, only traction lifts.

Easy to get around. Train delayed 20 mins on platform due to train being hijacked and sprayed outside with graffiti.
