I thought I would support the local taxi industry so I booked a cab on Christmas day using the online booking service app. The cab arrived and the driver seemed preoccupied or anxious about something. He did not know whether to start the meter or not until he realised it was an online prepaid booking. He proceeded to drive and eventually pulled over after a couple of minutes and said he has no receipt and would not continue. I showed him my bank account as the payment had come out. He refused to take us to our destination and said he would cancel the the trip and I would have to sort it out with the cab company. We were told to leave the cab because he had no record of payment. Almost 5 weeks later I am still waiting to hear back from 13 cabs concerning this matter despite contacting them twice. Customer service is unacceptable as is their system. I will never use them again. The company stole $46 from me. Do Not Use This Company
I have been a huge advocate for cabs. I believe that as much money as possible should stay in Australia. Uber sends 30% of its profit overseas straight off the bat, that’s pretty F up. However, I have been refused service multiple times, because they would prefer a job to the airport rather than a job to Waterloo. I work in a pub and finish very late, so from here on out, I’m going to be an advocate for Uber. I really don’t want to be a …. but… I’m going to get discount cards from Uber and give them to our patrons. I’m going to go out of my way to make sure they never get another fair from us. I’m also going to do my best to make sure, that the group as a whole never use cabs again.
Booked online for a taxi and after 15 minutes of waiting, the driver cancelled without any explanation. I than waited on the road. The next driver asked where I was going before I even got in. Denied me because my trip was less than 15min. Second '13 cab' I asked and same outcome. My young friend was by her self and experienced the same service. How is she supposed to get safely home when this company thinks more about profit than bringing a customer safely home at night? How is this company even operating with such poor service? No wonder no one chooses to use taxis anymore. The reviews speak for them selves! Do not use!Service: Limousines
Just saw someone who was refused a 20 min fare from central Sydney, the man put a co worker in a cab and then attempted to get his own. The driver was mad that the guy wanted a ride for only 20 mins. The driver wouldn’t let the guy in, called him a “waste of space” an drove forward. It was 1am on 8/8/22. The guy showed no signs of intoxication. License plate was T5131. This is why people use Uber.
We booked a wheelchair taxi for my father who was on day release from hospital for Xmas. He waited an hour to be picked up from the hospital and we are still waiting for the priority 1 after calling 5 times taxi to pick him up 36 hours after our booking. I hope they will pay the $800 ambulance fare from him fainting while waiting to be picked up and taken back to hospital as it was a condition of his release that we used a wheelchair taxi so we booked it days in advance. What a joke of a company for customer service. Don't bother booking and can anyone recommend a good rideshare company that is able to accommodate wheelchair users that can't leave their chair.Service: Limousines
The worst customer service after leaving my car keys in the cab ride #199396308. I called lost property within a half an hour and used the app to report. After a long wait on the phone they gave me a reference # and sent sent him a message .Driver acknowledges he got the message about my keys and that was it. Called later and driver signed off for the day. Called again next day and driver can't be contacted when he is driving. Asked me to call again later. To replace the keys for my privately imported car is over $1k. Would not recommend this company to anybody and I will no longer use them. I will try ride share apps in future. Trying to get your lost property back quickly is a total joke.Service: Limousines
Booked and paid online. Said they driver picked me up when he never arrived, called and he said he had picked up another ride. Sent a message to the customer service as I was charged for a ride that never happened! Still no response almost 24 hrs later. Stick with Uber, more reliable.
Booked a maxi taxi over a week in advance. Waited half an hour after scheduled pickup time. Called twice and was told twice next available and priority put on. No ETA could be given. Ended up ordering an Uber XL which arrived 6 minutes after booking and was $40 cheaper. Lucky we did. We didn't cancel the taxi cause we thought stuff them.. and it actually never turned up. What a joke !!!
I recently booked a taxi with 13Cabs for a 4.45am pickup and received a confirmation of my booking. However, upon the scheduled time, no vehicle was ready and available. This caused me to miss a crucial meeting and left me extremely frustrated. The service quality provided by 13Cabs in Canberra is unacceptable and unreliable. I would highly recommend choosing a more dependable service, such as Uber.
