I asked the guy that runs the food kiosk how much the 500ml up & go choc protein drink is, he told me they are $6.50 each as I was just curious about the price anyway I then waited for the woman who works with him and when she tells me the total price as I bought 2 of the drinks she charges me $13.60 so I’m just going to say they are not charging the same price for what they are selling. Because I was charged around $23.50 for 2 chiko rolls and the same drinks $13.00 so I’m going to say ask for a price for the item you buy because they will over charge you regardless if you use card or cash.
I was pissed when a random guy in a pink t-shirt pushed me while I was going to another platform, making me drop my AirPods, and instead of apologizing, he screamed at me. Even the train assistant sitting nearby didn’t say anything—it was so frustrating!
I lost my hat today on the way to work. I was quite despondent when I arrived there and put in a ticket on the Transport NSW website under lost property. On my commute home, I decided to check in with the station staff who were already quite busy, I might add to see if they had found anything on any of the platforms.nAfter some searching, they turned up my hat.nI was overjoyed.nThank you guys!
I use Strathfield station quite a lot as I change for Central Coast services it gets very busy and the platform ramps get very crowded and I get VERY frustrated when people of certain nationalities who live in & around Strathfield can't or won't walk on the left or dawdle 5-6 across and block other passengers progress
Strathfield station could of been one of the best stations in NSW, the issue is that it's been decaying for years, the shops are dirty and overpriced, it's like stepping into the 70's, is a good station for if you need to travel in any direction though.
