Strathfield Station

Strathfield station could of been one of the best stations in NSW, the issue is that it's been decaying for years, the shops are dirty and overpriced, it's like stepping into the 70's, is a good station for if you need to travel in any direction though.

One of the busiest stations on the Cityrail network, Strathfield offers connections to almost every other line. Virtually every single train stops here so if you’ve just missed one odds are you won’t have to wait long for the next. There’s a medium sized shopping centre located just outside the station, but if you want Westfield you’ll have to travel one station to Burwood. The main downside to the station s that it does get crowded at peak times with the tunnels under the platforms sometimes getting log jammed.

Very useful station. But only problem is traffic on streets going to station. Council need to do something to solve this traffic.

Disgusting shops are selling masks at a scam rate. Then the Chinese owner abused me as i said it was expensive. I recommend dont but any products from Strathfield train station.

This station is bound to become decentralised from Sydney's rail network. Considering how it supports high populations of daytime commuters, it is rapidly accelerating as a transport hub. Compared to Burwood, which despite having a Westfield and theoretically a larger CBD to support high daytime populations, is a pretty minor transport hub.

16 may. At platform 3. A young boy helped me. He was very kind and helping many passengers. May be indian background. But he was very generous to every passenger in need. Its very rare to see such gratitude. I wish him to be awarded by something to make his efforts count.

One of the worst train station ever. Many are using this stations because numerous lines are passing by. However, it seems this station is the last major train station left far behind all others. Old and filthy. Lack of benches. Lack of toilets. Many times staff are busy with their phone. I don't know why Strathfield council does not push Sydney rail to upgrade this station though they have allowed increasing populations flooded in for the last decades. - look and think how other major train stations have been changed though they have even "less" lines passing by. Anyway, I dare to say, If you can avoid this station, better to do.

Well. Most of these toilets are very small like in the bottom one for men is just a small unrial and one stall which is for disabled people and what the hell is that mate. Also lack of seats when I am coming back home on a 1 hour ride with so much to carry.

They took away all of the good quality, expensive bench seating on platforms and replaced it with these frame things you're supposed to lean against. Where are our elders supposed to sit? You treat the community like an inconvenience. What did you do with all that perfectly good seating that was funded by taxpayers? Please restore it for our use.

I just asked a customer service lady why is train not here as it was supposed to be there politely but then her reply was so rude even without knowing what i was trying to ask! She needs to know her duties properly and ofc speak politely because people maybe new here and they may ask for directions related to station and i guess the lady is paid for helping them not to reply back that rudely.
