This is a local bakery that local people love a lot. They had a great variety of cakes for you to choose. Lots of gluten free options too. Just the thing that, just like many other European style bakeries, their cakes and pastries generally could suit European taste more than Asian - they could be too sweet for many Asian people. Their coffee was nice though. I love it. Better to take out than dine in, as the place was a bit small.
This place is one of my go-to places. Everything is always delicious. I'm not usually one for vegetarian food, but everything I have had here has been so good. My favorite items are the orange cheesecake when they have it, and cant go past the savoury scones. By far the best scones I have ever had. So moist. Would highly recommend! Pictured is the rhubarb cheesecakes I got today.
Visited this cute little bakery before flying back to Melbourne, and oh my....I'm glad I did! I bought a vanilla slice and pumpkin quinoa salad to eat later knowing airport food is pretty average and there was no meal provided on the flight home. I had the vanilla slice at the airport for my afternoon tea, and oh my...it was one of the best I've had! Beautiful, flaky pastry and perfect ratio of filling to pastry I'm not a fan of too much filling!. And that salad! I had it for dinner on the plane, it was the best pumpkin salad eveeeer! Absolutely loved the crispiness of the beans and the added crunch of the hazelnuts...divine! Little Missy Patisserie is small with no dine in so it's perfect for grab and go. Service was warm and friendly and loved the homebaked feel of the goodies on offer. Definitely on my list to visit when I'm in Hobart next...I'm already craving the vanilla slice and the salad!
I had pretty high expectations from the amazing reviews, but it was even better than I expected. EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD, and the service was friendly and super welcoming. My partner and I tried 6 things between us, and all of them were flawless. Try this place!
Our favourite breakfast find in Hobart! We could smell the buttery pastries before we even walked in the door. Everything looked tantalising and there were 6 of us, so we walked away with one of almost everything. Everything was nice, but my favourites were the cheese and green onion scone, the lemon brulee tart, the apple custard puff ... the savoury pies veggie korma and mushroom were good too, and came with a tasty housemade apple chutney. Most of the goodies were so fresh out of the oven that they were still warm, and a delight to eat. Staff were lovely too. It is a little space, takeaway only, but I will absolutely be back the next time I am in Hobart. IG @ shazlikesponies
Extremely friendly service and there is a fantastic selection for vegetarians! Highly recommend it. Only thing is we wished there was more seating but understand that might be a covid hangover.
This patisserie is one of my favourite spot to have both sweet & savoury goodies. The pastry chef definitely knows how to bake their goods. Even my friends from interstates i bring them down and they were amazed by it. The pastries have so much layer and crunch you just can't stop for another bite. I mean this place would be nice to open on the weekends too so I can visit again and again.
Went here two days in a row. The food is decadent and creative. Get a lemon brulee tart if you can.
Lovely pleasant staff amazing pastries. We were staying at The Quarry accommodation and googled, what was close by for coffee and breakfast. Hubby chose the savoury scone and was not disappointed. He also purchased the lemon curd biscuit and they had just displayed an apple curd tart with meringue so we couldn’t help but get one of those also. Worth the walk. A couple of seats out the front but more about grab and go.
The food is amazing but I found the place extremely pricey. I’ve been to a lot of bakeries and I do understand that the costs are generally up but I was charged $10.50 for one piece of pumpkin tart. Although the flavours of the food were nice, but I’m not sure if the price was justified :
