Says a lot about a coffee place when they can get a long black right... the temperature allowed me to drink it straight away! So many places get this simple matter so wrong. Wife had a piccolo and she loved her coffee too. Highly recommended. Edit: Came back and tried the food. Outstanding! Can’t recommend enough!!

This place is a real gem. I'm so glad I made the stop to come here for breakfast and coffee. The staff were very enthusiastic about their work and you could really feel the sense of pride in them. The decor is too perfect and I love the use of the antiques throughout the place. Even the bathrooms were awesome! It wasn't overwhelming and it created the perfect atmosphere that makes this cafe stand out so well amongst all the other cafes in the area. The food and coffee looked so good it was almost a shame to eat but my god it was good haha I can't even begin to explain it. You just have to go and try it! I will definitely be coming here again and I highly recommend this place to anyone living, staying or passing through Hobart.

In a city which has made leaps and bounds in coffee culture, Pilgrim still leads the pack. Consistently excellent coffee. Prompt, efficient service and lots of seating if you’re having in. Highly recommended.
