Story

Elizabeth Street is the major street which runs South-East to North-West through the city and suburbs of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It was named by the Governor of New South Wales from 1810-1821, Lachlan Macquarie, after his wife Elizabeth Macquarie. It starts at Sullivans Cove and runs north-westerly through the CBD of Hobart, the North Hobart shopping district, and changes to become New Town Road at the intersection with Augusta Road in New Town.The Elizabeth Street Pier extends into Sullivan's Cove (the Port of Hobart) from Franklin Wharf near the intersection with Elizabeth Street. Along the street are the General Post Office, the Hobart Bus Mall, the Elizabeth Street Mall, and Elizabeth College. Many major banks, insurance companies and retail outlets are situated on or close to Elizabeth Street.

Coffee should be hotter. I know it's not supposed to be super hot but it shouldn't be lukewarm either. Asked for extra hot the second time around. Poached eggs nicely done and had gluten free toast so that was nice.

Pretty good spot to sit and relax, whether you're having a meal, a coffee or a beer (expensive). The vegetarian breakfast isn't bad but there are definitely better options for the price. They have an all day menu though so a veggie burger at 7am is pretty good, especially after a night shift. Music is also great in the mornings, heaps of classics.

Reminds me of Central Perk from friends. If you want solid breakfast. This is definitely a great choice. Favorite place to get breakfast in hobart. Food is amazing, staff are friendly and the whole place has a traditional sophisticated vibe.

Way too noisy during lunch and late afternoon times. Food way too expensive for the average person and for what you get. Needs heating for our freezing winters. The downstairs seating ares is absoutely freezing with tempreture set to what feels like the arctic no matter what the temp is like outside. No way i could sit there in any kind of comfort. Closing hours need to be consistent , they very often close way earlier than their regular advertised hours and rudely refuse to serve you even tho the doors are still open they say they're closed! . Should open later into the evenings to cater for dinner especially in summer. Clearing of tables could be faster. The bathrooms are absoutely disgusting and a BIG turn off. They too often smell. The bins are always over flowing onto the floor. The ladies is dark and very badly kept and unclean. It wasn't as bad as this a year ago. Needless to say, not a place I choose these days. From 5 stars 5 months ago to 1 star now.

My friend ordered a smooth fruit berry bliss SMOOTHIE and it looked and tasted like plain milk with ice or watered down yogurt. Looked nothing like the photo and had no berry taste. She asked them to remake it as she didn't think she got the right order and they made it the exact same as before. My avocado was super hard and bitter. Wasn't ripe at all. Dome used to be a really great place to come for food but for a while now I have only heard bad reviews and will not be recommending this place anymore.
