Had coffee at Villino 3 out of the 4 mornings we were in Hobart. (Not opened Sunday unfortunately.) Absolutely fantastic, beautiful blended coffee. Great staff and food, highly recommended. Soft, pleasant music.

Used to be a fav for a coffee and a quick bite- reliably good coffee and friendly. Now they're always SO slow to clear the previous people's leftovers and take an order let alone bring it... even when they're not at all busy. Kinda weird in such a small place. We've actually given up more than once after 30min of waiting.The other couple of recent visits, we went to the counter so something happened. Coffee isn't as reliably good now though.

I've never been to Villino. I own and operate a café in Brisbane called Kin and Co. Villino sent me a sample one day and since then we've been ordering 5kg of different filter coffees each time. Staggeringly delicious coffees like the Kenya Kangocho AA, the Panama Hartmann Black Winey and they even put together a special filter blend for us as a surprise. Villino is that good I order in advance knowing it'll take longer to get here from Hobart. I do it because it's worth it. Because it's the best. I actually sent some to friends in Brazil (check out Takko Cafe SP) because I wanted to share something special with them. Service and communication are fantastic considering the distance and they relatively small quantities we order. I could not be happier with this crew!
