These guys were really helpful. we needed a truck for our business and came through and helped every step of the way. Shaun was the person who handled my reservation. Although he was there just by himself everything was super quick. Definitely recommended!
One of the most convenient car rental service I've come across, they pay you the bond straight after giving them the car back. Offers you a wide range of cars to choose from and the friendly staff is like a cherry on the cake. Especially, Anuradha one of their staff member is really happy go person. He makes the procedure really simple and easy. I've been renting cars from here since more than a year now and never have their services disappointed me Totally recommend
DO NOT USE LION RENTALS. Hired a car only to find that once we'd gotten out into the country, we were stranded, as they had failed to change the timing belt 13,000kms earlier. This is an absolute rookie error as even a first car owner knows that the timing belt is key. Anyway, we were stranded for the better part of a day until the replacement car arrived. We told them we had lost a day and that we were owed an extra day as compensation; the least they could do. We returned the car a day later as discussed on the phone, however they refused to refund our full deposit due to the extra day. Really bad experience. Go to one of the majors and avoid this half-baked venture. I would report them to consumer affairs if I thought it would do any good.
Great value, and friendly service. Yohan was very helpful and the car was perfect.
I would NOT recommend the guys at all! Hired a truck to move house and had the single worst customer service experience of my life. Picked the truck up, drove it to my house, turned the truck off with nothing left on, used the hydraulic lift once to lift our fridge up and once finished loading we went to drive to our new house only to find the batteries were dead. Called the Lion office to ask for help, to my disgust they accused me that I must have left something on/it was my fault, wouldn't even say sorry or call RACV for me. I waited over an hour for the first RACV guy to turn up to jump start us, he tested the batteries and said they were dead not just flat. He got the truck running and organised another RACV person to change the batteries at our new place. That was another 2 hour wait. We didn't even get to complete our move. When asking for a refund given we paid for 24 hours and used it for about 2 hours, the Lion manager once again blamed me and said I did something wrong and batteries don't just die. Well, they do and that's a fact, he needs to educate himself and work on his customer service! Once again, no apology for providing an unworthy vehicle, just blaming me as the customer that has paid him lots of money. Stay clear and spend a little more and go to one of the big franchises like Thrifty, etc.
Friendly service and very reasonably priced cars. The cars are a little older at the cheaper end of the range, but they are in good shape and drive well.
Great customer service, well maintained and presented car. No hassles at pick up or drop off. Highly recommended.
Worst decision ever, gave me so much of headache with there old truck and there wasn't any supoort from the team & manager himself. Such a old truck with no grips on tyre & smelly truck. If this was placed for roadworthy then this will never pass. Battery went flat and i have to stop my moving in the middle of no where and they have never mention about the racv . Totally rip off. Took the full money and they wanted truck at same time next day no matter what. So think twice when you go with cheap rental company like this. Leasson learned.
