Embarking on our first-ever trip to North Wales was an exciting prospect for my family and me. To ensure a comfortable and hassle-free journey, we decided to hire a 12-seater van. Little did we know that this decision would turn out to be one of the highlights of our vacation. From the moment we picked up the van to the day we returned it, the experience was nothing short of exceptional, leaving us with unforgettable memories to cherish. In this recount, I would like to share the remarkable journey we had with the van, which proved to be a perfect companion throughout our North Wales adventure. As we stepped into the 12-seater van, we were delighted to find that it was incredibly spacious and well-maintained. With ample room for all family members and our luggage, we settled in comfortably, eager to kickstart our adventure. The van's interiors were immaculate, and the seats were plush, which added to the overall pleasure of the ride. I, as the designated driver, felt confident behind the wheel. The van handled beautifully, and its smooth ride made driving through the picturesque landscapes of North Wales an absolute joy. The vehicle was equipped with modern amenities, making the journey convenient and entertaining for everyone. From USB charging ports to Bluetooth connectivity for music, the van catered to all our needs, ensuring a delightful travel experience. From the very beginning of the rental process, they were friendly, professional, and helpful. On the day of pick-up, the process was fast and easy. The staff efficiently completed the necessary paperwork, ensuring we didn't waste any time and could start our adventure promptly. Their attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service truly impressed us. When it came time to return the vehicle, we were pleased to find that the process was equally smooth. The staff made sure to inspect the van thoroughly but efficiently, making the return hassle-free. This level of service left us with a positive and lasting impression, making it clear that we would choose them again for future trips. Our 12-seater van experience in North Wales surpassed all our expectations. The comfort, confidence, and convenience provided by the vehicle, coupled with the outstanding service from the rental company, made our family trip all the more special. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend this van rental service to my friends and family. As we reminisce about our North Wales adventure, we are grateful for the smooth transaction and hassle-free journey the van offered us. Hi this was our first adventure into motorhoming and it couldn't have been any better than hiring from Wests, they were so helpful & friendly and made the whole process smooth and easy. On pick up they explained everything you needed to know on running the motorhome from the electrics, heating to the plumping etc. We hired the Auto-Trail F60 which was so easy to drive & very comfortable, very well equipped with everything we needed for our 10 day trip to Dorset, Cornwall & Devon. There was nothing better than waking up every morning with fantastic & beautiful views to get you in the right mood to enjoy your day with our puppy Ziggy who loved the adventure as much as me and the wife did. Returning the motorhome couldn't have been any easier. We would definitely hire from Wests again in a heartbeat, thanks again and hopefully we'll see you next year.
Hiring a motorhome from Wests was the best thing we ever did. Everybody at Wests, from Office Staff to Yard Staff were amazing. So friendly, helpful, accommodating and very professional. The paperwork required by us to hire the motorhome took some preparation, but once obtained, it all went smoothly and all documents we needed to be given were professionally provided and every detail carefully explained to us. On collection, the van was clean, equipped with all we needed, including our extras. A detailed brief was given on how the hot water and heating etc worked and once we were happy we had grasped it all, we were on our way. The first night away, 21h00 we were a bit concerned about the hot water, so we sent a Facebook message to Wests and within 5 minutes, Julie was online explaining it all to us. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff at Wests. The motorhome was super comfortable to sleep in and was easy to drive, it handled just like a car, one just had to be aware of the width of the top of the vehicle. This vehicle was very manoeuvrable and coped well on all our routes. We must mention that we hired a 6 berth and 4 adults went away in the vehicle and we were quite comfortable with the space the van provided. Also, the bathroom, shower and toilet worked so well, a great shower considering the space. On returning the motorhome, which we had cleaned and taken care that everything was back in its place, the vehicle was inspected and then all the paperwork was signed off and within a couple of days our deposit was returned to us, with no hesitation at all. All professionally dealt with. We cannot rave enough about Wests and would hire from them again in a heartbeat. It really was a very pleasant experience and of course a great holiday in Scotland!! A special thank you to Julie and Paula in particular, with whom we dealt with the most, but also a great shout-out to all the staff who were part of making this an enjoyable experience. We hired a car from Wests after our one broke down just before we were due to go on holiday with it. They were very helpful and polite and the car itself was faultless. Would recommend Wests and if the need arises would definitely use them again.
What a truly wonderful experience to deal with Wests. Great customer service from a family run company. The Motorhome was great quality and really clean, the guided tour and check in and check out was great, knowledgable and friendly. I have rented a motor home before from one of their competitors in Bedford and had an awful experience; I would rate Wests over any of their competitors any day. thank you for a great experience.
Excellent Customer Service! This weekend we purchased an ex-rental motorhome from Wests Self Drive Hire. Excellent service from start to finish! As we live 300 miles away, Julie conducted an impromptu video call and gave a thorough tour/inspection of the motorhome. Upon collection, we arrived earlier than planned and witnessed Julie giving a thorough handover to customers who had arrived to collect their hired vehicles. Julie's handover of our purchased motorhome was nothing but first class! All vehicles are clearly very well looked after and I would have no hesitation to recommend this company whether you are hiring or purchasing from them.

Hired a 12 seater from Wests. One of the best companies to use for car hire. Customer service is exceptional and the vehicle given to me was in excellent condition throughout. Will be definitely using them again.
I had Motorhome swift edge 464 for 4 nights...Wests provided perfect service and quick management with all I needed...Great communication especially with Julie,which explained to me all things I wanted...I had lovely trip and definitely will use them again..thanks
