Value for money. Location is far for tourists without transport though there are buses running in front of the motel. Rooms are tidy and beds comfortable. It's good for a night's rest. No restaurants within walking distance. Need to use public transport if you do not have your own. There's microwave, toaster and fridge together with coffee and tea in the room. Not the best bathroom but passable, not forgetting you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly and trustworthy.

Been staying here probably more than any one else. Has motel basics for the budget conscious and if there is an opening, u can save even more with long term discounts. It also has another building with standard motel rooms, and a 3rd building separate.. With newer everything, separate parking and secure door access, more like apartment living but catering to motel clientele. Staff/management and all the long-term residents are great and friendly. Fantastic elevated panoramic views of the city can be found from the back garden. Offering a peaceful and quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. Which is a real bonus considering we are in the city and next to a highway. Plenty of parking, free transport at the door to st Leonard's station. You can walk to st Leonard's or lane Cove shops in 15-20. Great place to stay if ur after somewhere basic, centrally located, and with a friendly core of residents and staff.

Good location. Value for money but you get what you pay for. Friendly and helpful staff.

Linwood Lodge is a no frills 3 star motel. Rooms are good, free parking is a bonus.

Under $100 for a reasonable size aircon room so close to the cbd? Can't beat that! Great beds and city view from our room too! I've paid double this money for cramped run down dumps miles from anywhere.
