Great waterfront view, cool activity room, and there are some cafes and restaurants not far from this area. This Melbourne public library is smaller but more relaxing than the State Library Victoria. Opening times vary each day, so please check before visiting.
The library tucked in the amazing waterfront location with plenty of things to explore.nMultiple levels of various book collections as well as heaps of public PCs to do your thing if short of laptop.nLoads of comfy benches, couches, sofas for you to crash in with books of your choice.nBring your chargers as there’re plenty of slots.nOnly downside is the WC quite nasty and needs regular attention.n*Especially locks ain’t working.
I am thrilled to announce the launch of my exhibition, 'Crackle of Cockatoos', at the Library at the Dock has opened. 107 Victoria Harbour Promenade, Docklands VIC 3008nThis installation features a stunning collection of paper mâché cockatoos, crafted from newspaper pages to pay homage to the library setting. This exhibition is a personal tribute to my grandfather's special bond with a cockatoo and explores the profound impact of nature and culture on my artistic journey. I invite you to join me on this journey, as we delve into the intricate relationship between art, nature, and personal heritage.nnOn display till August
Great outdoor space for the Firelight Festival in July. Worth going just to catch the African band playing. They had drums for us to play which was super fun!
I never been to a library like this. It’s great! You can see the beautiful Victoria harbor throughout the big window. Reading a book and relaxing all day long. There is a makerspace at second floor. Before you use the equipments, registering a guide meeting for realizing all the thing you need to know.
