The Caroline Chisholm Library is the successor of the Central Catholic Library, founded in 1924. Relaunched under lay management in 1993, the Caroline Chisholm Library hosts talks, offers a CBD venue to like-minded groups, and holds a collection of nearly 30,000 volumes of Catholic and Christian literature covering church history, philosophy, theology, patristics, hagiography, spirituality and mysticism.
A membership of $50 per year ($35 concession) entitles subscribers to borrow up to four books at a time for 30 days.
