First time trying this place for food, and I couldn't be happier! I went for the orange cake, tea, affogato, and those delicious scones—what a treat! Prices were fair, and everything was cooked and presented just the way I like it. If you're after a fantastic coffee experience, this place is a must-try! The atmosphere was fantastic! It reminded me of my home country with great music, plants, and decorations all reflecting Latin culture. It was truly amazing! Big thanks to the owner !
A beautiful little cosy cafe, and a hidden Latin gem! The best empolvados we've ever had and great coffee to go with it. Such lovely owners give the place its authentic and warm atmosphere. A must do when visiting the Mount Tamborine area!Food: 5/5
From expired drinks, fire hazards and non compliance, and hostile customer service. The start of our bad experience began when the coke I was drinking tasted funny and what do you know it’s expired from February. Regular checks would ensure this doesn’t happen of selling expired products and makes you wonder if anything else is correctly being checked for expiries. The second issue we had was receiving the incorrect meal and after bringing this to the gentleman’s attention at the front he assured us we did not in fact order the bolognese and no one had ordered it today! Which I thought to be quite odd as it already had a 30 minute wait, was the dish of the day and people were eating it at other tables when we were leaving. The last issue was that an ignorant group of women decided to come in and assemble all the tables into a line of tripping and fire hazards. Had there been a fire of course most people on the other side of the deck would be unable to get out or would trip due to their negligence to acknowledge the world did not revolve around themselves and their table eating, with no staff actually explaining this to them or trying to organise their seating better. Expensive for average quality. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
Best ice cream in Mt Tamborine! Made my friends drive all the way here again from Brisbane just for the ice cream that I had in September. I had the strawberry ones and it's really the best ice cream ive eaten in my life. A pity it wasnt available this time. The texture is really amazing. Chewy, rich, and thick. The flavours were delicious. Staff were so kind even though we came in a bunch. They allow 2 samples per person and the samples were really generous. Each scoop is enough to be passed around by 4 of us to try. I got the Boysenberry ice cream and it was so good! We all tried and loved it. My friends really liked the mango coconut which was full of shredded coconut, as well as the hazelnut ones. Definitely a must to visit in Mt Tamborine.
My husband and I had an amazing authentic South American lunch there today. I’ve been there a few times and every time has been excellent. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming and the staff are very friendly with amazing service. The food is absolutely delicious and goes down well with their lovely tea and chocolates. Highly recommend Le Chile Cafe for an amazing lunch experience on Mount Tamborine!
For a Chilean it feels amazing to have tradicional Chilean food when your far away from home this place was amazing the food it’s very tradicional and very fresh and tasty my favorite was the empanada and the beans I felt like i was back home it has the feeling of a home cooked meal the staff where very friendly and I had a little chat with the owner which was also very nice I highly recommend this place to any South American travelers specially Chileans that want to taste a piece of home here in Australia thank you very much for the meal I will definitely come back
Great little place with friendly wait staff and nice comfy chairs. The hot chocolate was really good. We had lunch there and my friend had the empanada which was humongous and tasted amazing. I had the beef stew which was a bit disappointing to be honest, tasted quite normal and didn't really seem to have a South American twist and was also quite a small serving. The spiced potatoes were much better and the rice that came with it was okay. Atmosphere was very nice though. Will probably go back but probably not get the stew.
Cute little cafe in central tambourine with nice little tables outside including a covered area. Serves Byron coffee - tasty and not bitter. Mainly an amazing chocolate shop with a vast selection that can be individually selected. Also has ice cream and eclectic furniture and home wares.Food: 5/5
