The Best Foodie Mecca in Southport worth the pilgrimage to worship the gourmet delights. Here you will find a global product for that one dish you can't find anywhere. Curing cabinets with fine meats and cheeses. A bakery and deli with pickled goodies, olives from every corner of the world, hand crafted dolmades from a cottage maker in Azerbaijan. Delicatessen dreams and fantasies live here. Spices, fresh produce, sashimi that's still wriggling and a Gelateria to hit the sweet spot. There's seating for freshly prepared food and adjoining the market a wonderful cafe/bar, florist and my personal favourite 'The Source Bulk Foods' for sustainable products like beans and cous cous without the packaging, BYO jars.
Fantastic marketplace, fresh produce , brilliant coffee at Merlo. You can choose up to 10 different kind of coffee beans for your coffee. Customer service is friendly as well. Very modern. There is even a sitting area inside for a quick social or study nook. Very busy location, What does that tell you. Will be back again!
Lots of variety. It is up market so you will pay more for everything. The icecream is great. Bakery has a good variety so does the deli

Up market best fruit vegetables on the gold coast the seafood is worth every cent, service is fantastic, after shopping pearl &ash for lunch.
This place is by far the greatest on the coast. Tonnes of parking huge range of food both cafe style sit down or takeaway or just grab the ingredients from the same location and make it yourself there is limitless potential
Nowhere to sit and rude shop owners!!!! I purchased food from the bakery inside the market and went to the seating area to sit and eat. There are signs everywhere that you can only sit there if you have purchased from that particular retailer. I sat where I thought was general seating and within 30 seconds the seafood shop owner/employee came and told me I wasn’t able to sit there. When I said I had purchased food in the market where do we sit he said anywhere but here. Absolutely discusting treatment and I will never set foot in the complex again. Seriously it shouldn’t matter that I brought from another retailer in the market it’s still the market!!! I never write reviews however cannot believe this is how they treat people in their precinct. 0 star rating if I could

Great coffee at Merlo and very experienced and friendly staff
Great. The best butcherbest lamb chops and veal schnitzels, bakery best custard tarts and patty cakes, deli,best olive and charcuterie selectionand veggie and fruit alway amazing mangoes and greensshops. Pay a bit more but well worth the quality , freshness and variety. Merlo's coffee staff are very efficient and friendly and the coffee is excellent. The best real custard tarts and patty cakes at the bakery- my favourites! I
