We have been attending this school for 5 years and have loved every minute. The teachers are incredible and the environment is very supportive. I have one child at the higher end of the class and he is challenged at his level and another at the lower end of her class and she is fully supported. Both the kids are really happy and we love the community spirit
Over all this school is an amazing school i had the best experience while i was here for three years , but that bad thing about it is the osch , the staff are horrid every time i pick up my siblings there are kids hitting each other running around with no shoes and the staff don't do anything they just sit there, When my brother broke his leg they didn't do the proper course made him sit on a slide with his shoe off
Four and a bit years at the school and it felt like a rollercoaster ride. I have given a star to the teachers and a star to the teacher aides in lower grade levels. Ultimately, we had to get off the rollercoaster to find a more inclusive school environment that supported our child's diversity. Minus one star for communication, one star for support in 2023 and one star for having to move a child away from her friendship group.
Got two kids in Lawnton SS this year, year 4 and a preppy and can I just say that we have never had so much fun at a school than how we do now. Amazing faculty and programs, great systems and communication. Next year I will have three kids in and I just love that we have found a school that feels like home -Alice Jackson
I cannot recommend this school enough. It is more than a school it is a family and you are apart of more than just education.nFrom the support the principal, teachers, teacher aides and support staff and the admin provide to the children is above and beyond what you could ever ask for. They are all approachable and always there for a chat or to answer any questions you have regarding your child. Lawnton State School is a community one my children and I am proud to be apart.
