Mission

At Lawnton Kindergarten and Preschool we believe that the early years are an important time for establishing the foundations for a life-time of learning. The individual child is the focus of our program, and we believe that it is important that children develop a strong sense of self-worth, a positive self-image, feel valued and have a sense of belonging. Learning is meant to be fun and play is the fundamental medium for young children's learning. Children have the ability to reach their own potential. Their learning is best promoted in an environment of partnerships - between each child, their teachers, parents and the wider community.
