What a grossly incompetent facility. Not only were we booked into the wrong branch but when we arrived at the Howitt Street facility; the Sonographer rude and unempathetic when it came to our needs. We are friendly easygoing people and it was not appreciated.
Avoid. They disclose confidential health information to other parties without client permission. Totally unethical. Their charges are also much higher than other providers.
Incompetent, rude and seriously lacking in any form of client care. Truly appalling service
This is a radiology I cannot recommend to anyone. They are con artists that are only interested in making money. I went for my X-ray after getting a referral from my doctor and filling all the paperwork at the reception. No one bothered to inform me that I would have to pay for it out of my own pocket. After the X-ray, I received a call concerning the charges, and I informed them that I would consider whether or not I wanted the reports. I scheduled another radiology appointment, had my X-ray taken, and notified them. They did, however, call for payments, and last week an unpleasant man called to demand money, and he refused to listen to what had occurred to me. I ended myself paying for something I didn't even want.
Avoid like the plague. Don't expect courtesy from reception. Last time I had a cortisone shot there with different doctor than usual I was in agony for 6 weeks. .When I asked where my usual doc was he laughed and said I had an upgrade. You must be kidding right. There are other places you can try, I wouldn't go back if my life depended on it. A Smart Alec reply from owner .... What did I expect. For the record, I was not told the usual guy wasn't there, you have a bad reputation in Ballarat so try abit harder.
Went in spelled name several times. Final bill more than I expected then advised that I had been told of the costs. I stood my ground and stated I thought it was less and the second person came in and stated oh yes well you will get a refund tonight. You know all you have to is be genuinely respectful to all. You also have to be able to listen and spell my name correctly. No I won’t be back I have the capacity to drive to Melton or similar.
Always allow at least 30 minutes after your appointment time to be acknowledged. Even of you ask if they are running on time or need to reschedule, they'll be late.
Incredibly rude staff. Wish I had read these reviews before dealing with them.
Wish i had i read reviews before i wasted my time booking my appt, rude staff, even dropped the F bomb to another imaging centre when my files were requested
I went in for a brain scan and they were really kind and understanding.
