I've been coming here for years for oncology.nI'm here for around 5 to 6 hours every 4 weeks.nSo very disappointed to see such a huge decline in the comfort of coming for regular treatment.nWhat used to be homely. Is now military. AwfulnSo many of the wonderful oncology nurses have either left or reduced their hours for work elsewhere.nI used to enjoy coming, now I don't.nYou used to have lunch options. Now it's pre made sandwiches that smell like they have been made a while.nSadly these changes impact all us patients. We are all unhappy. We are here regularly some for long hours. Take it back to what it used to be. But im assuming you won't care as we have limited options to go to for treatment.nThe 2 stars are for the wonderful nursesnnEdited as there is no way to reply to your reply.nnI tried to call Catherine Robertson today, while I was in having treatment. But she was working from home and not contactable so I was told.nnToday really showed how different it's become for us.nnApart from the copious amount of paperwork that now has to be repeated and filled out every treatment, which I get.nnThe atmosphere is just about non existing. It was fun when the nurses would sing along to the music. Not today. So much I could write.nnFood options have gone, from the choices of sausage rolls, party pies, pasties, feta and spinach rolls, milk shakes, sandwiches that used to be made on site lovely fresh and a great variety. Muffins, cheese and crackers. Soups.nnNow it's just cheese and crackers, pre made sandwiches with little variety. Muffins.nnGoing through treatment is tough enough and was made so much easier in the past. But now it was like enrolling in the military. I used to face another patient and we would chair. Today I had the choice to face a wall or look down the centre of the room all I seen was the sides and or backs of chairs, blood pressure machines, wires etc.nnThe chair I have sat in for years and years now no longer available as you have put a desk the opposite side. Which has a computer on it. The screen facing some patient chairs. I could read the screen. Bit of a privacy issue.
I would like to thank the amazing staff that assisted with my procedure today.nI interacted with no less than 10 people in a few short hours. Every single person including the surgeon and his assistant were highly personable and extremely professional.nI couldn’t fault any part of the process.nKeep up the great work team.
A huge thank you to your nurses and staff who gave me the best experience from the moment I arrived for my procedure to the time I was discharged. They handled my anxiety with care compassion. Highly recommended if you need a day proceedure.
Thank you to everyone @ BDPC for looking after me today. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left you were all fantastic! Dr. David and Dr. Peter were very personable and down to earth, so to were the nurses and office admin. Thank you once again and I hope I never have to see you again!
The staff and nurses were amazing in handling my care. They showed empathy and understanding, couldn't fault them. Highly recommend them. However, fingers crossed I won't have to see them again.
