Family friendly environment that offers a range of different meals to cater for everyone. Don't let the preconception that La Porchetta specialises in pasta and pizza keep you from checking out their menu. They actually offer a range of meals that go far beyond that. If you have food sensitivities they do offer several dishes that are gluten-free alternatives. Located on the edge of Woodgrove Shopping Centre, it can be a good way to finish a day of shopping with the family if that is your thing.

Worst La Porchetta experience. Salt and Pepper Calamari for starters was really greasy and had no salt or pepper, sent that back and just asked for mains to be sent out. Mushroom Tortellini also had no salt or pepper, just heated cream and sliced mushroom. After a couple of mouthfuls, found a hair and that ended that meal. The other main of veal schnitzel was over-fried and greasy, mashed potato was only just warm, again no seasoning for taste. This was the second time dining, previous time was about 9 months ago and we definitely won't be back. Plenty of staff around but some basic service training is also required.

I will never ever eat anything from la Porchetta Melton again, I had ordered a veggie pizza, which i found had little pieces of plastic in it that could have killed me or my my kids. This is dangerous to people's health how could your staff be so careless to serve someone something that could kill them. Many other people have complained about the hygiene it is appalling and this place needs to be shut down.

The pizza is okay, it’s a little hit and miss. Have tried a few of their pasta and meat dishes which I wasn’t too impressed with. Went for breakfast one day & was asked to leave because my dogs made people feel uncomfortable. Won’t be giving them my money again.

I had a pasta dish with creamy chicken. Was really nice. To add avocado cost nearly $6 extra. That was a bit steep. A good place to steal nice plates from.
