Kmart

Honestly the worst Kmart I’ve ever been to. Had to pick up a click and collect.. went to the service desk where I stood for a good hot minute.. to be finally greeted by a lady who Clearly didn’t want to be at work.. I get it.. Christmas time can be horrible but the store wasn’t even busy - it was dead and honestly I can see why no one shops there. I get my docket to go around to back dock where I have to walk up stares to pallets all over the floor where I have to step on to get any back dock staff member to notice me. Missed opportunity but I should have tripped and fallen down the stares, I could do with the spare cash this Christmas . Anyway atleast they had the stock I Ordered in stock.

Certainly not going here ever again. How can you have something on your shelf but not for sale? Had the choice to go here or to office works to pick up a last minute gift for young ones, unfortunately decided to go here. Arrived 15 minutes before closing, found what I wanted to get and basically 5 minutes before closing was checking out to be told by the staff, “the item isn’t in our system so means we can’t sell it”. Then why is it on display / for sell if you aren’t selling it. Wasted my time and my day. Not much options available either, the shelves are pretty much empty. Not sure if they don’t get filled, they don’t receive stock or these guys are closing up.

Horrible customer service at the service desk. I believe the security needs an overhaul before you loose many long term customers. We are made to feel as though we are a thief EVERYTIME we come to this store, purchase an item an leave. Maybe better security cameras, or mystery shoppers, so that the front door staff are not searching through our belongings like they are shredding our shopping to pieces. We try now, to avoid at all cost an bypass to another store.

Every staff member asked for support was very helpful and considerate. They went above and beyond to be helpful.

Like all other Kmarts - great variety of goods, cheap and well presented within the stores. For this particular store there are alot of the smaller sizes left for both shoes and clothes as the bigger sizes tend to run out quick.

Kmart has done away with all salespeople on counters with self serve POS. Problem is that with minimal deviation in sale options, the POS computers need an operator. It's lethargic and unfriendly experience during sales checkout. If only kmart could keep hybrid options with POS comps and actual human beings on sales counters !! Always better to deal with a real person than fumble around with a machine.

Thanks to a lovely lady that helped me today with my photos at the service counter, her customer service was 10/10 and she stayed and helped me until my special 80th birthday gift was done. Thank you lovely, I hope you get to see this and you get some kind of recognition for your awesome work!

Kmart has a good store vibe. Hard To see overhead signs for all sections to see where things are though. Dislike the self-serve checkouts in the center of the store.

There is a lady named Pat who works there she is allways so lovely and very helpful, today she was working at the fitting rooms.A 10 for Pat.

Love Kmart however... just yesterday I was expressing to someone that as a guy I hate big checkout lines. And how much I hate it since Kmart put the registers in the middle of the store. My friend a woman says she hates it also as do many of her friends. The amount of people is still likely the same but one line going in makes it look longer. I have taken one look sometimes and just walked out. My friend says she has done the same and some of her other friends do as well. I hate that centre checkout system with passion.
