Ordered an eye brow pencil online a.m click&collect. Called in store at 12.30 and actually passed the display of the pencil I had ordered. I had a Quick Look and they had a few of the eye brow colour I had ordered. I went to customer service with my payment slip and was told it wasn’t ready for collection. admittedly I had at that time not received confirmation the order was complete, but called in on the off chance as I was near the store I offered to get one off the shelf as I was already in the store so they could complete the order… was told they couldn’t do that and they had till 4pm to complete the click and collect order I had placed. I said that was silly as if I got the pencil and gave it to them, they could complete the transaction. Answer no, can’t do that. I asked could I cancel the order then and just buy one while I was there… nope… I would have to cancel it myself which meant going home as my husband had ordered it At 3.30 pm we received a email informing us we had been refunded the money????? and it also stated that could take up to three days for the monies to be returned I went back to the store, only this time when I passed the display of eye brow pencils I picked up the one I wanted and took it to customer service where I asked for a manager. I asked why we had been refunded as the pencil was there and why, at 3.30 when you had till 4pm to locate an eye brow pencil which was obviously on the display in her store????? I was told by “ Di”, the supervisor, that the reason the order would have been refunded would be because the pencil would not have been there when the “ team” that collect the orders went for it. She then said they didn’t get a delivery till lunch time. I pointed out to her that I was in store at lunch time and they were there on the display. She then said they had o ver 1200 orders to process and mine was obviously not there when they searched??? No apology just excuses. I told her that’s funny because the lad I spoke to at lunch time said mine had not even been looked for yet but they had till 4pm!!! Found the whole system ridiculous that my order could not be cancelled in store or on me producing the pencil to them, they could not have gone into the system and put complete. And yet someone was able to access my order, cancel it and arrange a refund, all before 4 pm??? Supervisors attitude was bad, no attempt to amend the situation and no apology for the fact I was stood in front of her with the pencil a member of staff stated was unavailable!.. So much for customer service.
Went to Kmart yesterday to have a Quick Look at their Christmas range. Every single Christmas aisle was almost impossible to get down due to large trolleys full of stock. I went down one aisle when a staff member approached me and loudly and aggressively said excuse me. I wasn’t standing anywhere in her way. I asked if there was a problem and she said you need to move I have to unpack this trolly. I explained I was just quickly grabbing an item. She loudly said to another staff member, why is she even in the aisle she can clearly see I’m unpacking stuff. She needs to shop elsewhere. I promptly placed my $200 worth of Christmas items on the floor and left. I did talk to a manger on the way out but he didn’t seem to care at all. The general attitude from the majority of the staff is always of an average nature. I’m at the point of not returning. Not that they would care!
Kmart Hervey Bay – Where the Customer is the Checkout Operator and a NuisancennDropped in at 5pm Friday. Big mistake. The aisles were blocked with stocking trolleys, making it a challenge just to move—yet shelves were still embarrassingly bare. Not sure how you restock an aisle without actually stocking it, but here we are.nnPlenty of items had no visible pricing, because who needs to know what they’re paying?nnThen came the checkout circus. Not a single staffed register open—just malfunctioning self-serve machines that have a meltdown if you don’t cram every item into the bagging area even when they don’t fit. No space, no help, no logic. But sure, let’s make the customer do all the work.nnAnd when I dared to ask a customer experience staff member for help? Got an eye-roll. Literal eye-roll. Like I was inconveniencing them by expecting basic assistance.nnKmart clearly makes enough profit to run a store properly—but chooses not to. If you’ve got a full trolley, a disability, or just expect actual service, forget it. This store isn’t for you.nnWon’t be shopping in-store again. At least the website doesn’t roll its eyes at you.
Customer service????? Nah you dont need that. Let's just keep one register open on the school holidays!!! You could clearly see there were people waiting to be served but can't call through to get another person on the register, yet there were other staff walking around doing nothing?!?! Last time I shop at kmart
They sell online as Click & Collect but you need to park, enter the shopping centre long walk then up to the back of the store. Not easy with a busted up hip. Trying to stay a bit independent but no help here. Apparently it's Drive & Collect to pick up in car even though Coles have a Click & Collect in the same centre. Guess I'll have to ask one of my carers to go buy me some slippers. Or go to Big W
