This is my local shop for my electrical supplies and is well stocked for all my needs. The manager, Alif, provided me really good service on my last shop which was really appreciated.
After being told by PB Tech Queen Street that the item I was after DID NOT EXIST I walked into the Jaycar Newmarket, Alif grabbed the cable I required off the shelf and I was out the door in 5 minutes. Absolutely awesome service and one very happy customer!!!
Usually very helpful. Lots of sales people but the one guy I asked would not help me. Said he was too busy. All he was doing was stocking a product but didn't want to assist. Ended up asking another assistant who was helpful. The one white guy in the shop should just be used for stocking shelves because he's hopeless with customer service.
A nice corner electronic shop tug in next to a traffic light. Use GPS or Waze to get there or you may missed it. A well equipped electronic shop which has standard and huge variety of electronic items for sale. Friendly & helpful staff to assist if you need a helping hand. Many DIY shop here for best range and price of electronic part or accessories. Sells surveillance camera & whole shop under keen eyes. Sometime their offer bin is a treasure trove.
I'm never shopping there again. The store person was very rude, and when I asked to speak to the manager, he hung up the phone. Products are overpriced as well.
I tried to return a product which they assured me would work for the lights I purchased it for, turned out it didn't work like they said. They then refused to give me a refund or exchange the product for something that might work. They kept referencing Australian consumer laws which aren't the same as New Zealand's, then they tried to convince me power-related items aren't returnable, which isn't true if it doesn't work in the first place. Don't try to convince shoppers that they can't return items, it's illegal. The item was only $39 so I was surprised when I had to argue to convince you to give me an exchange, what a joke.
Friendly and helpful staff. Got the item I wanted in less than 5mins. Thank you!
I went to the Jaycar electronics at Khyber Pass Road and there was an amazing employee who saw me and helped me find what I wanted instantly, he was honest and kind and had a very positive attitude his name was Liam I went there at 10.40am on the 23 of april. everyone was very nice and I had a very good experience there, 10/10 would go again
I reported a fraudulent transaction, emailed the company and response was done thru email with Daniel but I couldn't wait as transaction might be processed and my refund might not be issued. I've called 2 auckland branches but their help was limited. Until I tried the Newmarket branch. The store manager named Alif helped me and returned the call under 5 minutes. He easily cancelled the transaction smoothly. I was assured of my refund by monday. I didn't know it can be done this fast. Really grateful for Alif. He saved the day!!!
HERE they have stuff - way better than PB tech or JB hifi . And its cheap
