"Built in 1855, our Pub is filled with history, character and charm. It was the birthplace of the Geelong Football club and has been the home to many more good times since.Murphys is a lively, contemporary Pub, with an award-wining Restaurant and Rooftop Bar with incredible views. It underwent a significant renovation in 2018. Food was good and the view from the rooftop bar is definitely worth it. Well shaded and protected from the sun and wind, I love this place. Food was a bit slow to come but that's ok. Just more time to sit back and enjoy a pint of Guinness with the view.

The menu and food was great with lots of gluten free options, however the level of noise at the venue from 6:30pm was way too loud for any of us to have a conversation. We understand that the there were a couple of events happening but there was also no need to have  the music up so loud that you couldn't here yourself think. We were offered menus for desert but the tables took way too long to clear so with the noise levels and the delay in being served we left early.

Highly recommend Murphy's for any special occasion or event. Nicole was extremely helpful with great communication skills making it stress free to organise my birthday in the rooftop bar. The bar staff on the night were also fantastic! Everyone who attended commented on what a great venue it was and really enjoyed the food selection. Great Place!

Hosted an engagement party here for 25+ attendees, and everything was fantastic. All our food choices were amazing, everyone loved everything. Staff were very accommodating and took great care of us, including helping with seating for our elderly guests. Nicole was incredible, so helpful with all organisation prior to the event and set the space up for us beautifully. Thankyou all so much for a wonderful evening!

Good ambiance. Went here for Friday dinner and they have nice live music. Big food servings. Staffs are friendly and bubbly. The price are reasonable considering the big servings for each menus.

I booked a table for 2 on the roof top I was given a wine barrel???? I asked how we were supposed to eat dinner on it? The lady promptly worked out a solution getting another table and provided us with a complimentary drink. Meal was enjoyable but the curry lacked any hint of spice.

Loved how relaxed it was. Had a huge space for the celebration and the bottomless was a lot of fun. Appreciated the venue confirming the booking closer to the date and very polite. Thank you to the bartenders you were lovely!

Great meals, great service and a wonderful view of the bay. Real homely pub you won’t be disappointed, we’ll definitely be back. My son is gluten and lactose intolerant and he was so happy to be able to enjoy parma and chips. 10/10

Great place to hang in Geelong. First time came here recently and totally loving the vibe. They also offer unlimited cocktail every Sat 11am - 1 pm, it includes drinks and food. Definitely come back to hang out and to grab a few beers.
