Wow.. surprised by the taste of the broth.. it was so good. The noodle was good. IMO, increase your price and provide a bit more beef, and it would be 5 star from me.
Absolutely delicious! My Dad and I were out exploring the city and trying to find a decent place to eat, we eventually stumbled on this joint and decided to give it a go - it did not disappoint! We then ended up returning a couple of days later as we enjoyed it so much, and it was just as good the second time. Fresh food with generous serves and a wonderfully authentic taste. Bay city noodles and cafe will definitely become one of my go to restaurants in Geelong.
BEST IN TOWN! How come no one lining up here? This is the best pho that Geelong has to offer. Better than the one in the corner you-know-what-I-mean
They have several types of noodles. Soup tastes good. Iced Vietnamese coffee can choose less ice and less sweet is great. Provide two small bowls for children before I make the request proofs they're serving by heart. Kid-friendliness: A above.
The beef pho is so good! Authentic and comforting on a cold day. I would absolutely recommend the Stir fried beef and rice too. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!
Best vietnamese restaurant in Geelong! I had the spring rolls and beef and tendon bun bo hue. So so good and portions were generous too.
Pho noodle and Hue chilli beef noodle was tasty. Our family enjoyed it Small place and clean. Will come back to try other dishes
Wasn't the best dining experience that I imagined. The dining area feels cheap, and is completely different to the pictures you would see inside the restaurant on the internet. There is no toilets within the restaurant, and the only waiter in the restaurant advised us to go to the public toilets out on the street. We ordered multiple dishes. None of them came out at the same time, which meant that others finished there meal before others got there's. The chicken curry laksa was way too spicy to enjoy. The waiter should have informed us that it is way too spicy before ordering. I found the chicken in my laksa to be dry. Also, there was no coconut in the laksa. The beef pho was average. We found the meat to be long and stringy. Table water was only given when asked, and there wasn't enough for such a large crowd. Overall, I definitely won't be going back, and I wouldn't recommend anyone going to Bay City Noodles & Cafe.
My wife and I had a beef & chicken combination pho, very quiet to dine in on Monday night; Didn’t wait more than 15 minutes to have our food served, both our bowls are fully loaded with huge chunks of combinations beef & chicken that were incredibly tender and flavorful. Must highlight the soup stock was fantastic. Both our phos came with a plateful of fresh basils & spouts. Vietnamese Iced coffee was a hidden gem that blew me away. Definitely put this restaurant on my eateries lists.
My wife and I had a great meal here prior to boarding Tassy ferry - good clean establishment friendly staff and delicious fresh food. Highly recommend it!
