Asked for a pint of a certain tap beer - it was my first beverage at the venue. They started pouring a cider. Tried to correct the as it turns out venue manager. They argued. Quite angrily and assertively. They attested that there was nobody above them in the command chain. I left. They followed me into the street. INTO THE FECKING STREET! They shouted more about my drink order. After they went inside I spoke to the security person. They said “they’re the boss I can’t do anything”. I left the area in a hurry. I’ll probably be back because my friends are delicious but basic. Be aware. Stranger danger, etc…
beavs is easily the best saturday night in geelong. you can always find a middle aged man to buy you a cruiser and then never speak to you again. divine! obviously i’ve never seen anyone other than a white dude playing on a saturday or friday but you know what maybe i’ve just got to admit that they’re inherently better at gigs than anyone else.
Great place to meet friends and relax over a cool drink. Best bar in Geelong, a winner.

Had the misfortune of going to Beavs bar last night. Was pretty crowded when we got there but they just kept letting more and more people in to the point where you couldn't move. Going to the filthy toilets was impossible as was getting to the bar. It was packed to the point where it was unsafe and unbearable. Left in disgust. Vowed never to return.
Lovely quaint bar with inviting atmosphere.full of mismatched antiques ,so there is always something interesting to look at. Check out the x rated barbie display above the bar.serves all kinds of drinks including cocktails and Live music
Great little bar in Geelong that had live music. The band played great tunes and the place has a fun, relaxed vibe.
The amount of people they let in was ridiculous you couldn't get from one end to the other without getting crushed.They smoking area and toilet cue was not managed effectively. We left as it was so bad.Beavs need to think about people's safety before $.
