Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen

Absolutely fabulous hidden gem! Japanese comfort food at its best. I had ramen noodles, as good as any I’ve had in Japan, my husband had a selection of small dishes which were all delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are lovely, it will be our go to for a casual dinner when we are next in town.

Definitely some of the best ramen we've had, Australia-wide. The flavour of the broth is next-level and the black garlic is a must-try. Overall, the restaurant feels very authentic, our waiter was super friendly and funny, kept us entertained. And our food came out insanely fast to be fair - it was a quiet evening. The only bummer is that it's pretty expensive, and while it's to be expected considering the location, the "add on" system paying for everything from a ramen egg to bamboo shoots which are normally included at all the other ramen places we've tried sours the experience a little. The first time I had ramen here, it's so delicious. The broth is rich and thick with just enough spice to make your taste buds tingle but not too much where the whole dish becomes overwhelming--I love how each bite feels like an mini-feast! With an array menu options to choose from as well as fantastic service that makes sure everything goes smoothly plus those hardworking staff members!, I recommend booking a booth if at all possible and take friends who appreciate good food. We will definitely be back!

Very modern ramen bar I would say. The owner is a very down to earth lad, witty and full of enthusiasm. There is a fill-in menu, where you can fill in all your customizations. If you want something different, try the yuzu broth, which has a more citrus flavor in it. Atmosphere is really chill, with many Japanese drawings. There is a bar as well, if you like to have a drink. Price is $1-3 more expensive than other ramens, but worth it. Location may be a bit hard to find, which is near the back of the federation square.

you can choose what level you want on the broth,oil, soft or hard noodle. egg is lil sweet,and thin noodles is classic fukuoka style chashu don is sweet and good taste. ice cream is rich matcha flavor, very nice friendly staff

My favorite ramen place! Consistently high quality ramen and boatload of options to match your preference. Friendly staff and good portions. Slightly pricey but worth it.

Cool vibe to the place and good beer. You can have your ramen cooked basically however you want you get a sheet to fill in. Highly recommend

Ramen was delicious. I enjoyed personalising my ramen by choosing exactly what I wanted from the soup to the noodles. the price was responsible for the ramen, until you have to add on the extra egg and sea weed. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere I felt was lacking, it was a bit messy. But the ramen was really good. I highly recommend checking this ramen place out.

Was recommended by a friend but not that delicious as expected. We tried the yuzu pepper and the black garlic oil ramen. Ramen taste was like average but the black garlic oil ramen was just too salty. The staff was friendly to explain the menu.

Nice place with delicious meals and a good variety of Japanese beers. Service was prompt and attentive. Heap of different options as to exactly how you want your ramen!
