I asked at pleasant friendly lady at the door where a specific item was. She pointed in a vague direction "near office furniture". Walked in said direction, and walked some more, and some more, then when I still hadn't seen it decided to ask someone else. No one nearby. So I walked some more... Found a friendly young lady at a help desk. She looked up the item on her computer and told me I walked past it. So I walk back. In an obscure spot is a display of the item I need that I walked right past. There's a little hand drawn note explaining that the item is near the exit. Great. So I walk some more, then walk some more then find the item I need near the exit. Why didn't the lady at the entrance tell me that it was near the exit in the first place?

I love that we have an IKEA in Canberra now! Always nice to have a walk around. Tidy showrooms, nice cafeteria with lots of food options, and a food market at the end. Good affordable options for anyone.

It's a big shop full of Swedish designed furniture. No one goes to IKEA confused about what they're getting into. The real test comes when you attempt to put it together. Is your relationship strong enough to survive that? That is the real review.

An excellent store filled with interesting good quality designer furniture. However an infuriating layout that requires a good roadmap to navigate quickly. Odd Scandinavian sizing means mix and match with the furniture of other store is fraught. But, ignoring these issues, careful selection with an eye on quality will result in buys that will last you for decade. I have IKEA kitchen chairs, still in daily use, for 40 years

A good range of well priced and innovatively designed furniture and homewares. In-store cafe has something for everyone, from coffee and cake to a full hot (and healthy) meal with vegetarian options available too, at very good prices! Finding your way around is tricky - the only way out is through every display, whether you want to see that department or not.
