The worst experience ever. Purchased two lounges in June 2020. Within 8 months the cushions had completely gone flat and hard. I contacted the store in the February 2021 as the lounges were under warranty. Was told to send photos and someone would contact me. Within 2 weeks we went into lockdown so I waited. In April I tried calling everyday for a week to speak to the manager. As Sharon isn’t the manager, she is useless and aggressive And she told me they didn’t have to help as they were outside warranty. Finally after months and months I spoke to the owner. And I explained that I had made contact with the store prior to warranty running out. And they had my lounge picked up. But 3 weeks later they returned them unfixed. When I called the store to advise the lounge weren’t fixed. Sharon continued to abuse me for more than 10 minutes. Swearing and threatening me. I finally had a new manager call me to tell me he would organise a new upholsterer. Two months later in June 2022 my lounges were picked up taken for three weeks again. And return finally fixed. Literally more than two years for a process that shouldn’t have taken more than a week to complete. Sharon should not be in customer service! Between management and the owner the service is appalling would not recommend dealing with the clearance house
I paid for five dining chairs and left the store promised to picked up the following week. To my surprise after 6 days, I received an SMS threatening me to pay extra $50 for each chair or refund my money. I accept the refund option, as there is other furniture store to shop.. I do have the ACCC option but does not worth the effort, I end up finding a better chair in Nick Scali. This happened in August 2022. My advice is, once you paid for the goods make sure it’s out of the Clearance House immediately you have the receipt handed to you. Or be ready to pay extra or refund your money if the store owner noticed there is opportunity to sell same goods you bought for higher price.
Customer service is none exaitance here. Not one staff present ,could be bothered to get up and greet me or even see if I needed assistance. After walking around the whole store including upstairs. I approached an older male staff member wearing glasses, who was busy doing computer work, regarding a "Sienna" chair which I was interested in purchasing. I asked who the maker was or the brand. The staff member promptly told me. "No sales staff are in atm" The impression the staff member left on me was it was below him to sell something to someone like me. I was not worth his time. I left the store quickly after this feeling uncomfortable and unwilling to now spend money in such an establishment. Customer service should be all business first priority and I don't feel any the staff here have been trained correctly. Not even a greeting when entering the building. If I couldn't physically see staff at the desks and talking amoungs themself. I'd think it was unstaff. Will not be returning! Highly recommend spending money else where as I will be doing. Fyi - I'm a property investor and often stage homes, rent property I own out funtuired and currently building a new place in Canberra for myself.... Which I was considering adding the "Sienna" chair to. If future information is required from the business. I'm happy to follow up and give more in-depth feedback
This is the worst place to deal with I order a couch in December and the sent me 2 different colours like half gray and half liqrish,, I been asking them to change from day 1 first they said the will come have a look at my place and booked timing and no one came and when I asked why playing game from December to now it’s been 6 month and you not fixing my issue the lady abused me first and then the owner and I paid 1800 for the couch,, not they not even replying my emails or text ,, you guys are worst in the industry and don’t know how to treat customers i think you have some mental issues,, you should either go for checkup or shut your place,, I wish karma will bit you very soon ,, hope you kids face the same problem you made me face,,,
Advertised prices online but then upped the price by $300 when we went to the store. When we questioned them about this we were verbally abused and had to leave the store as the owner Sharon shouted at us.
This company took over from another company that had bad debts. We bought a table from them, it was damaged and had a chair missing. Months and months of hassling the manager, it's now been years and still no replacement or refund even though it's been promised multiple times Avoid this company at all costs
