Superb! The new owners have been in here for some time and during that time have turned it around beautifully to stock just about everything you need and reasonably priced. Best pears, apples and mandarins on the coast. Local yoghurt, good quality meat and handy amounts of fruit and veg. The store is also well stocked with handy household items. The store now stocks Helga's GF bread as well as other GF basics. It's hardly worth my time running to the main supermarkets while I can shop here.
Seems to be problems since new owners. My friend was sold yoghurt which was well over the use by date, ended up sick and was not even refunded her money. I nearly constantly have to correct staff regarding prices of individual items when paying. Today is the last time I shop there. It's clear they just want to rip people off.

A helpful manager helped me order Ice cream that is available with IGA, not stocked at other IGA. Have tried other IGA on the coast.nGolden North Ice-cream.. delighted .nIt’s the best Ice cream . I ordered honey flavour.nMy family will be thrilled. It’s yummy.
As I couldn't give a 0 star rating, I was forced to give it 1 STAR rating! Today I have purchased a small bottle of Tonic water for 3$. After noticing at home that it had 21% sugar, and being on a diet, I have brought it back to ask to have it swapped for mineral water instead, and was rudely told: Sorry, once it leaves the store, that's it. We can't do anything for you. So I have then left them that bottle of Tonic water I have purchased and told them I won't be back. As this is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I'm so Dissapppointed ! It's not at all about the 3$ purchase, which I could have bought for a few cents anywhere else, but about Customer SERVICE which wasn't there! Unbelievable.
