I had a really pleasant stay here. The check-in and check-out process was super easy and efficient — staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay.nnParking can be a bit tricky, so it’s worth planning ahead. If you don’t want to spend too much on parking, be prepared to park about a 10-minute walk away. Centre Place offers $10 parking if you register in advance, which is a great option.nnOverall, a great value hotel in a convenient location — I’d definitely stay again!
Very comfortable beds, quiet rooms, calming views of the Waikato river. Great service with a smile. Greatly appreciated access to the fitness centre at Novotel.nnProbably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, at the Maakona restaurant! They also do an excellent dinner service.nnMy only gripes were that there was no microwave in the room, and the default room temperature felt a bit hot at 23 degrees.
I recently had the pleasure of staying for a single night. The location proved to be quite convenient, offering easy access to the river walk area and a variety of restaurants in the surrounding streets.nMy room, situated on an upper floor, provided a pleasant view of the river. The room itself was simple, yet clean and well-maintained, with an aesthetically pleasing design in both the room and the lounge area. The staff were friendly and provided nice service. The breakfast in the morning offered good selection of food. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable lounge area. The only minor issue was that the toilet seat was not soft-closing, which resulted in some noise when closing the lid. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Reception staff are lovely, well appointed rooms which were extremely clean. Bar, lounge and breakfast area were well appointed open spaces and very modern. Buffet breakfast excellent. Close to plenty of options for restaurants and bars within walking distance.nWill most definitely stay again.
Great location, we had a beautiful view of the river from our window, definitely recommend the river view room if you can afford it. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they even brought a corkscrew up to our room at 9pm when we needed one. The valet service was quick and convenient. Unfortunately our room TV was not configured for internet access so we had to watch a movie on our laptop, but no big deal. I feel like we had much better service here than many 4/5 star hotels we have stayed at in the past, would recommend it to anyone visiting Hamilton who wants to stay in a nice hotel.
