This place let's the Ibis brand name down.nNo lift to help you with two 30kg bags up 2 levels and no help given! The cleanliness of the room was not good. No mattress protector, pillow protectors stained, shower curtain orange mould! Very, very noisy with road traffic.nOn a positive note it is close to the airport and taxis were waiting outside. $25 to international hotel.nI probably won't go back again.
Everything was as expected except the bathroom. I knew it would be small, I knew the whole bathroom was basically the shower, but I didn’t expect it to be so dirty. When we turned the shower on, the sewage smell came up out of the drain. We couldn’t shower because of it so we didn’t get to shower before our 24 hours of travel. Luckily we weren’t too smelly…we think. ChecknIn was smooth and fuss free. The halls smell strongly of vinegar so I think they might clean with vinegar instead of normal cleaning products which isn’t great. The bed was clean and comfortable so I appreciated that and we slept very well. Also, be aware there are NO ELEVATORS. So make sure you’re able to carry your suitcase up some stairs.
It's a budget hotel, what can anyone say. It's very tired. But it's kept just on the clean side of the scale. Beds are great comfortable and clean. The breakfast was disappointing. Instant coffee was a surprise! It was fairly noisy all night as kids are a bit dumb and unaware and parents didnt tell them to be quiet. Parking was free and easy.
Our one night stay was decent for a quick stopover before our flight from Brisbane International airport. The customer service was satisfactory and efficient. While it served its purpose as an affordable, convenient option near the airport, a bit more space would have made the experience more comfortable.
Killed no less than four cockroaches and we were only in the room 16 hours over two days to sleep. I wasn’t expecting first class, but I was expecting clean. Also, zero forks. How can you eat without a fork?! Broken hair dryer and flat as anything pillows. Not entirely sure the top bed even had a mattress on it, it was that hard. Would definitely not be staying again.
