Only 10 minutes from Brisbane Airport, the Best Western Airport 85 Motel is a friendly, family-run 4 star motel conveniently located in the heart of Ascot.

We are the only 4 star motel in Ascot and the closest 4 star motel to Doomben Racecourse (3 minute walk).
The ever popular tree lined Racecourse Road precinct is just a 15 minute stroll where you will discover a wide variety of cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Gallopers Sports Club (just a 5 minute walk) offers a delicious dinner menu at affordable prices every evening until 8.30pm.
For guests preferring to dine in their own room any-time, we offer a range of delicious ready-made meals that may be microwaved at leisure. Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and bottled water are also available for purchase from reception.

Location handy to trains but the rooms are so filthy that I wished I had paid the extra to stay longer at the Pullman by the airport. Mould on the shower door in the bathroom that made my towel dirty and you need to ask to get your towels changed but good service once we asked they did it. When checking for anything we had left behind we looked under the bed and found years worth of dust and rubbish under there. The reception were very helpful booking a reliable taxi.

Receptionist was super helpful and friendly.  Quick and easy check in. Nice large clean room. Great bathroom.  We booked 9h30am to 3pm as we had a 11h30pm departure flight.  Only $145 for a good sleep and shower.  Bring on the red-eye flight... we'll be well rested and fresh as daisies.

Room was very basic for the price you pay. Bed was very hard. Requested a cot for my 4 month old. Was not there when I arrived so had to wait till the next day to ask them to be told it will be $44. Hot water could only be used out of peak hour. Extremely noisy with the train station across the road and the glass not begin double glazed.nIt was close to the airport which was good. But I definitely won't be staying there again.nnAlso states payment on arrive but I was called the day before requesting I pay over the phone. Also when I arrived the guy requested to see the bank card I paid with verifying the numbers which was extremely weird as I already paid.nnYour reply is irrelevant - I did request a cot on my booking thank you I also spoke to someone on the phone making sure I would have the cot and was lied to and was going to be charged. When I spoke to the guy on the second day he told me it would be $44.00 for the remaining 2 nights so again your reply is irrelevant.nWhen I've stayed at other hotels and paid in advance I do not need to show my cards. Drivers license yes but not my bank card. So again irrelevant. Will not be staying with your hotel again when visiting Brisbane

Great reception service on arrival. As we were two ladies the twin bed unit was at the back of the complex which was not a tidy area.  The room was small with a double and single bed both were comfortable. We found an extra blanket and duvet in the cupboard as only sheets on the bed.  The bathroom was OK with a walking shower.nThe continental breakfast was ample cereals, yoghurt and fruit also 3 types of toast and spread varieties. We loved chatting to the other guests.nValue for money yes as how often is breakfast included.nThe train across the road is easy access to the airport.

Best Western Airport Motel, wonderful people!nnI made the mistake of booking at the Airway Motel, half a block from this Best Western. The manager of the Airway Motel wanted to charge me $20 to store my luggage until the room was ready and said he would NEVER let anyone check in early.nnThe staff at the Best Western allowed me to store my luggage, they were polite and courteous. If I pass through this area again I'll be staying at the Best Western. They helped me out even though I wasn't a customer. I'll certainly be one in the future!
