Such a dump. We booked in here for 2 nights in between moving and really wish we didn’t. Night 1, we have been kept up all night with someone next door talking loudly and the walls are so thin you can hear absolutely everything. By midnight we had had enough and called reception to deal with it, but they did not. Only sent a text to all people staying reminding them to be respectful. So we didn’t get to sleep until after 1am.nAdditionally, the pillows smell musty/dusty. There are no kitchen facilities in the room or even cutlery for take out. No towel rails to hang towels. No hand towels at all, just tissues next to the bathroom sink! No insulation on the door to the small balcony so you can hear absolutely all of the very loud traffic noise. There’s a crack in the door to the hallway which allows a view into the room we are staying in. There is also a decent bump between the carpeted area and the tiled area with absolutely no indication of uneven flooring so I’ve injured my foot on that. We will be attempting to get a refund on our second night booked because this place is such a dump.
Enjoyed the stay, rooms were enough to hold multiple people. TV had multiple channels and was working. Bathroom was small, shower was either cold or hot with no inbetween. There was barely any service provided to us, but the restaurant staff was very patient and kind. However the restaurant only accepted card and only opens at certain times in the evening. Contrary to popular belief the toilet did not slide around in our room but may be a differnet case for other rooms. Bed was comfy, couch was comfy, room was overall very nice and not that dirty. There was a lingering smell throughout the hotel, but it was not that bad. Very near towards the airport so if you need a close and quick stay to the airport this establishment shall surely suffice one’s requirements.
If I could give zero stars I would. It starts with being unable to check in via their no staff automated check in that doesn't work. We spent nearly an hour and multiple phone calls to achieve nothing. I believe they use an offshore call centre to deal with problems and no solution is offered. I finally spoke to someone who is supposed to be the manager and she implied that their system was fine and it was my mistake. I had 6 staff all with the same problem and she blames me. Finally we get to our rooms which all smell funky but on in particular was vomit worthy. 2 of our team had to wait almost 2 hours for someone to come and assist, eventually they were moved to another room. I stay in around 50 hotels a year for work all basic but this is the worst I've stayed in anywhere in Australia or NZ. Congratulations Alloggio. You win the award of worst.
This place is excellent value. I booked it with “no notice” last Sunday night after walking off a Virgin Airlines plane because it was sitting on the tarmac connected to the terminal with no explanation why for far too long. I needed a local hotel room. This one was available for the very low price of $127. I spoke with a fabulously helpful young woman on the phone & when I got there late at night the code worked immediately & both the room & bathroom were immaculately clean & the bed was perfectly comfortable. It was just what I needed & the price was excellent. Thanks so much - whomever runs this place does a great job for a low price. When you need a break from airlines that are badly run, this is a perfect place for an immediate stay
Quite a comfortable little room after a mishap at the airport, booked over the phone and received a sms code for the door to enter as there is no reception during the night. Bed was comfortable and the towels were good quality. Slightly stuffy but the aircon fixed that in a few hours. Probably needs a hand towel, hair dryer and a new balcony door due to the road noise. It is slightly over priced for what you get, but it was quite an easy option for us at the time. Close to a 24/7 cafe which was handy as we got in late.
