Very nice place with a lot of locals products. Olives, oils, vinegar, sauce, jam.... all seems delicious! You can buy a $0.50 little bag of crackers and go around in the shop to test different things.
We used to love visiting the Hunter Olive Centre, so we popped in today while we were up. Unfortunately the place has changed a lot, perhaps due to covid, and compared to the great selection they used to have available to try they had a very limited range of stock. It's actually quite sad because this used to be a fantastic place, but you need to get a lot more stock in and have more things available for people to try if you want to survive as a store
A nice, small, and quiet place that sells local goods. Not a lot of choices, and you can buy them in other local shops. We bought some olives there and tastes really nice. Customer service is nice too, just wish it could open a bit later because we got there a little late and many stocks are already sold out. Got a big open area that you can eat. Should visit if you are visiting Pokolbin Estate Cellar Door for a taste.
Love the range of olives, dakkah, oils and vinegar found here! Makes for some interesting mezze platters.
Pay $5 for bread to taste the oils with. Good selection of olive oil and vinegar
Absolutely appauling service. We arrived at 3:55 pm and food tasting ends at 4pm there were 7 adults we only requested a quick taste of chilli and we're declined service as by this time it was 4:02pm the container was already open all she had to do was grab a quick teaspoon as a taster, we all had handfulls of stuff to purchase but thanks to the disgusting customer service skills of this particular woman, we left with our hands empty. If I could rate this place a -5 I would. highly recommend Hunter Valley cheese Co just down the road, as they had much more selection and the service was 10/10
Went to the wine tasting quarter of the estate and the blonde young girl daughter of the owner who was serving us made unwarranted anti-semitic remarks. Although said in ‘jest’ it deeply offended us. Just a tip, if you’re trying to sell your products, probably don’t insult your customers...
Not bad of a place if you want to pick up some olive dips or artisanal jams & chutneys. It’s a small space with a decent selection. Felt pretty touristy though.
Great place to visit if you are not a wine drinker or even if you are. The staff are friend and provide you with the opportunity to taste test olive oils, olives and much more.
A must for olive lovers, get your small bag of bread pieces and taste all the different olive related dips, and oils.
