A great spot for breakfast/brunch. Excellent views across to the hope estate and next to a couple of boutique cheese and chocolate shops. The both dishes were great! Coffee was also really good. Well worth a look if your in the area.
if you want the worst meal of your life, come here. the chicken schnitzel in the parmigiana was hard, spongey and burnt. obviously frozen from a packet that was reheated at least twice. my husbands bolognese could be likened to heinz canned spaghetti. foul food and below average service.
Pizza is great and a decent size. Crispy chicken is too small and not worth the cost
The food was quite delicious, and the portion size was generous. The only problem we had would be the nearly 1hour wait for our food. We felt bad because there was only one staff member behind the kitchen counter making coffee and preparing food. Would be a 5 star experience if they had more staff stationed, overall pleasant experience.
Had lunch here - 31/01/2016. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The serves were generous. Husband was impressed with blue swimmer crab ravioli. Service staff were very friendly and fast. The atmosphere was good with a singer. Would happily dine there again.
Waited almost an hour for breakfast. People who had ordered after us were served before us. Staff not apologetic in the slightest about the wait time and there didn't seem to be any urgency in getting the food and drinks out. No salt and pepper on the tables, no water or glasses available and when we asked it seemed like a hassle. Food was less than satisfying - burnt bacon, cold tomatoes and barely toasted hardly buttered bread.
Been there on the recommendation of a local, have to say I was really disappointed. Although prices are correct, I seemed to constantly bother the staff. From the moment I ordered, then had to ask for water, to when they threw out cutleries on the table without a smile. The food was relatively quickly served, but I was really unimpressed by the taste. I ordered eggs bene. They didn't have salmon so I got ham which is fine, the hollandaise sauce tho was inedible. It tasted like warmed up industrial mayonnaise.
Had the breakfast stack, my partner the pancakes. Sour dough was untoasted and tasted a bit stale, bacon overcooked and the avocado / feta they used was minimal. Pancakes were nice if unnecessarily large. Coffee was fine, but not particularly impressive. Service was just.. unhappy, like she had a big night and the challenge of cracking a smile was beyond her.
An excellent breakfast, at a very reasonable price. View was amazing over the vineyards.
Dined at this restaurant yesterday. Staff friendly, however if you are after traditional Italian food, this is not the place. The only Italian experience were the signage inside the restaurant. Lamb dish was average and small in portion, veal served in the veal scallopine dish was not tender as good veal should be . Rocket salad was also borderline, We were offered self- serve iced water , however the water was not even cold let alone iced. Positives : friendly staff and pleasant dining area ambience Negatives: food quality & quantity given the prices and lack of any Italian authenticity. Our group would not return to this restaurant , but choose an alternate option in future.
