We had a fantastic dinner with the kids. They are super kid friendly, had highchairs and a kids colouring pack organised for us on arrival. They also have a great selection of kids meals that comes with a salad, chips, juice and ice-cream. Our meals were great too. We had the salmon and scotch fillet. The beer battered chips were so good! So nice to be able to go out and eat with the kids without it being too stressful. All the staff were super lovely and attentive too. Thank you for such a lovely dining experience. Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! Parking: Easy parking on site
The best meal & wine selection. The garlic prawns were unreal. Steak & beef ribs just melted as they entered the mouth. Quality & quantity perfect. Staff were there to assist but not overindulge. Was great to see them fostering the local vineyards........we ended up going to Peterson’s winery & joining their red wine club after sampling one of their reds bottles for the Blaxland Inn. Could not recommend this restaurant more highly. Enjoy
Great meal tonight, had the corn break for starters and garlic prawns for entree. Had the sirloin and scotch fillet for mains which were cooked to perfection medium rare the sides and sauce was delicious as well. Dessert was the blood orange custard tart which was great. Extra points from the excellent customer service we received from our server, didn’t get his name but he was the tall male server.
My partner and i went for dinner over the weekend and the food was good. There weren't many vegetarian options on the menu but the food was nice, it came out very quick - almost too quick right behind our entre and drinks. The wait staff were fantastic. The atmosphere was nice and warm and not too noisy.Service: 5/5
Went for dinner with my husband and the in-laws to celebrate my husband's birthday. Food was absolutely delicious and was served very quickly. Staff were very attentive. Definitely recommend the Apple Pie cocktail, it was a new addition to the menu and was amazing.Service: 5/5
The place is nice and welcoming, the food is nothing to write home about. Steak was underdone and the pie was very much lacked flavour. The old fashioned was made nice but the glass it was served was chipped. In all a bit more than average experience.
There is a courtesy bus that can pick you up and drop you off nearby which is ideal if you've had a trip to some wineries in the region. Food slightly pricey but tasty. Not lots to choose from either. The salad was slightly random with the pie too. Overall a nice meal and experience.Food: 4/5
I am a local so this was my fourth time to this restaurant. We all thoroughly enjoyed the fish of the day dish and I will definitely be back to order this one again. I only hope that it remains as the fish of the day. The sourdough with garlic butter was amazing too not to mention Petersons wines.
Booked lunch here at the very last minute because all the winery restaurants were fully booked out. Had the slow cooked short beef rib and it was so tender. Will definitely come back again.Food: 5/5
This is a pub when it's not a pub. Smart decor, incredibly helpful and friendly staff and terrific wine list. Both menu and wine list were very good value and the food was delivered efficiently and with a smile. Highly recommend to friends.
