Hotel Hotel Apartments

Well location bad, no service, walked in no concierge attendance, no luggage boy, rooms dark, loot bag chumps chop, cho c frog. When booked breakfast included to find out that only meant coffee and juice 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️Hotel interesting but lacks service, no professional old fashioned hotel impeccable service. Food great but again lack service. Good experience but next time will go back to 5 star hotels with excellent service. This casual way of today does not sit with me. You go out to stay at a hotel for the luxury and attention.

Ovolo Nishi Hotel has pushed the design element to a level where functionality is lost. It is a fantastic visual experience, but after a couple of nights you become annoyed with the lack of practicality. Lighting is very poor to the extent passageways are difficult to navigate. Switches are not labelled and room lighting is very dim. Bedding was very comfortable and the room extremely quiet (albeit very dark until you work out how to turn the lights on/off). Bar service is well below expectations. Overall, what should be a comfortable and relaxing time in a modern motel, becomes an effort. A short one night stay is probably the limit for an experience, but longer stays or families need to be mindful of the practicality elements. It will also be interesting how the motel passes the test of time.

Lovely staff, bad parking options but busy cause of good dining and recreational options. Ambience and design is breathtaking and simulating. Was in awe, great decor.

It is my 1st time to live in a hotel without airconditioning. The architect of Design Icon Canberra is amazing coz he/she designed a internal air flue to make natual wind take away the heat 👍

Spent two night over New years at the apartments, only to find out that no A/C is in the apartments, found the apartment great but can get hot and stuffy, only had ceiling fans, open the doors to the balcony for cool air to find that the noise from the road was loud ( hard to hear TV) plus with doors open insects arrive in the apartment. Self parking also cost you each time you use the car when you exit the car park. Apart from that the apartment were perfect except for no A/C. They have heating in apartments so would be better time to visit in winter.
