We really enjoyed our stay. From the beginning we were permitted to park our car before check-in so that we could spend time shopping and having lunch. After check-in we made good use of happy hour and the live music. Then we had a delicious 2 course meal at the restaurant. In the morning buffet breakfast and a late checkout. Everything was excellent. We'll definitely be back.
I liked the bar area especially the outside area. It is very spacious & designed beautifully. The breakfast was really good. Our teenage boys liked a good selection of fruits & their pan cake machine. Coffee was good too. Staff were all friendly and kind. A lady in the bar at night on 2/10/22 was super friendly. Loved her service. The room was clean & comfortable.
Lots of confusion initially about who was paying the bill when my employer had already provided a card. The first room I was put in was awful - tiny and dated with a strong cleaning fluid smell. The second was a nice room - but so it should be for $360 a night. The food was beautiful and the staff always 100%. The hotel needs a deep clean. The bar was a highlight with great service and the reception staff were great.
Stayed here for 2 nights over NYE, Sat to Mon, wonderful place, great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Easy parking. Great location for my needs. Had food from the Cafe and it was good. Unfortunately I did not have the buffet breakfast. Maybe next time, I will be back. Rooms: Clean and comfortable, I had great pillows, that makes a big difference to a good night's sleep. Walkability: Very close to everything I wanted to walk to. Food & drinks: The Cafe was very pleasant to have a meal from.
Excellent Hotel. Free parking for hotel guests Fri-Sun. Happy hour and music Friday 4-7, Saturday 3-7. A vodka and coke for $6. Large clean rooms. Relaxing rooftop pool and decent gym. Be sure to checkout Sisco Cafe nearby for an excellent breakfast.Rooms: 5/5
I just found that for a high end hotel that it was pretty average. The rooms look like other cheaper rooms I've stayed in. The veranda was quite small with not even a chair to sit on and the view was nothing to write home to your mother about. The bed and pillows were very comfy but the room wasn't cleaned that great. Crumbs under lounge cushions. Lights with thick dust, Walls had many holes repaired, walls also very dirty, there was no extra pillows or blankets in the wardrobe, fridge had mould in the seals and no container to put water in. Ordered a pizza from room service it was amazing but no side plates came with it or any side plates in the room. I was staying in a deluxe room and when I booked it was one of the more expensive hotels I thought I would have been wowed but I've stayed in alot better rooms with better views for less. The gym room was small not much in it and the pool was lovely with great views but for a roof top pool it also was average needs more plants or something to give it a wow factor but quite ordinary. The car park when coming off the elevator u are nearly blown over by the smell. To me it smelt like rats my partner thought it smelt like off food. I paid the extra money as it was a special occasion but wish I had of just gone with a cheaper hotel as I would have got the same as what I paid so much money for there
Amazing service, staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We had booked a room for a 40th birthday and were fortunate enough to be on the top floor with stunning views overlooking the city and hinterland. The room was clean and well presented , the king plush bed was super comfortable. The rooftop pool and seating area was beautiful and relaxing. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. I highly recommend Hotel Grand Chancellor ! We were very happy with our stay ! Thankyou again to all the wonderful staff x
Food and drinks very affordable. Great coffees and breakfast. Room comfy just need a better selection of pillows as we all enjoy different size pillows. Catch the train to airport if a family, as Maxi taxi too expensive.Rooms: 5/5
Service was quick and friendly, heaps of lobby space for waiting guests and restaurant is the same. Rooms have clearly had a refresh and are up to date and welcoming. Aircon smell is a bit strong but it goes away once you open the room up.
The staff here are lovely and pleasant to deal with. They have been so accommodating and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and pristine. Will definitely be staying here again when coming back to Brisbane. Highly recommend.
