Staff were AMAZING!!! They went above and beyond to cater our every need to the best of their ability. The room felt really cosy, it was a home away from home for our stay. Much more preferred than a modern sterile environment. Great value for money, couldn't fault a thing for the price we paid. Thank you for making our stay a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Foul and disgusting. It smells, is outdated, the carpet crusty and the furniture grubby. How it has a 3 star rating is beyond me. Perhaps, like the hotel, the rating is from the 70's? Don't stay there. To post this review I HAD to give it one star. Really - it's zero stars.

Very much a 2 star establishment, don't expect too much in terms of service or facilities. After a 10 hour commute from Sydney the male front desk attendant was neither welcoming or friendly. He advised the complete booking needed to be paid upfront and in full upon arrival, this was false as my employers had already made the payment online prior to arrival which was shown in an email. He proceeded to process the payment again which later on was refunded as it was indeed paid for. Very much a dated furnishings & amenities, would highly avoid given the 120/night fee.

A very disappointing experience to stay at Hotel Cavalier. We chose it for location and accepted it was a 3-star hotel, but did not count on the terrible state the room was in. The beds were comfortable and in good condition, however the other fittings were not. The microwave didn't work, the toilet seat was broken, the exhaust fan and several lights did not work, the supplied cooking wear was not fit to use.

Staff very friendly but room was very outdated. Furniture very old and not very clean.
