Stayed here for 7 nights with the family 2 toddlers. Though the hotel is largely catered for business travellers, we had a pleasant stay with numerous eateries in the area and the location was good for sightseeing.nnRooms are a bit dated but other than that no complaints.nnExtra charges for parking which i believe is fairly standard across hotels in Melbourne.nnService levels were exceptional. Special shout out to the front desk manager, Manoj who was kind enough to leave a complimentary basket of chips / popcorns and to help us up to the room.nnWould definitely recommend if you wish to stay in the suburbs with easy access to the city and airport.
We recently held our Old Boys’ get-together night at this hotel, and the entire experience was outstanding thanks to the manager, Suranga, Rebecca and Keshia. From the planning stage right through to the event itself, he was incredibly professional, attentive, and accommodating.nnSuranga went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and his warm hospitality made all our guests feel welcome and comfortable. The venue, service, and overall atmosphere were excellent, helping make our reunion a truly memorable night for everyone who attended.nnA big thank you to Suranga and the team for their exceptional effort and support. We highly recommend this hotel for any special gathering or event!
Staff are lovley, food is delicious. Reception staff were fabulous and helpful- bar staff and restraunt staff were extremley attentive and very professional. Breakfast had a large array of foods even a fresh pressed orange juice machine. As someone who is gluten free there was toast and gluten free banana bread options as well as hot breakfast. Staff member 'Mom' was very accommodating and aware of dietary requirements. Buffet breakfast was fresh and large and delicious. Fantastic stay.
I was pleasantly surprised with everything with this hotel and its location.nFrom the reservations team over the phone and reception to the rooms we booked 3 for our group and the amenities and location of the hotel. Mark at reception was very helpful and answered all my questions with a smile.nYes the car park entrance and exit was a little bit narrow but much safer than leaving it out on the street and close to the lift to the hotel. For a family of 4 this was non negotiable.nThe rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable and I didn’t realise they had a pillow menu which would have made my sleep more comfortable. I guess they can mention that at reception during check in.nBreakfast is highly recommended. They had a big variety and you could order eggs as you prefer. Everyone was satisfied.nHaving access to the pool, gym and sauna after late night shopping at Chadstone was a nice touch to our short stay.nThe biggest bonus for our young and teenage children was being located next to Archie brothers entertainment venue. They had a ball and were given a discount as guests of the hotel.nThere was also Village cinemas and shopping but we just ran out of time. Next time will be for 2 nights so we can take advantage of the local shopping and entertainment.
I was involved with the organising Home Coming dinner on Sunday 7 June 2026. From the initial stages Suranga the Assistant F&B and Head Chef were very cooperative and accommodating.nDinner buffet was excellent in taste and presentation. We all left satisfied and will recommend Novotel, Glen Waverley among all our friends and business partners.nThank you again!
